Does Flipkart have godown in Kolkata? Most guys in Bangalore has posted that they regularly receive their products in 1-2 days time. My guess is delievry will happen quickly if your city has Flipkart Godown.

Well most of the product comes from either New Delhi or bangalore. Like I got LG Optimus L9 from bangalore- New Delhi and then Kolkata. For last order it came from New Delhi. Look at the SS.

Hmm but i have had repeated experience of delayed shipping to Trivandrum Kerala. Couple of my firends in Ernakulam Kerala also had similar experience with Flipkart.

AFAIK flipkart have their warehouses near major metro cities, so delivery is quick.
but been observing their product service is on the descend with relation to packing and true status updates.
guess handling a large quantum of customers can take some toll on the service.
flipkart as such do not provide much other than availability of specific products which might be limited in some remote areas.
shopclues and ebay with their regular discount coupons still are my first preference.
HS 18 has some surprises in store but we need to be aware of those and those offers are limited to specific products so it can be a hit or a miss.

BTW, bought Coffee Day Combo3 - Arabicah 100gm, Charge 100gm, Perfect 100gm, Cappuccino Cup & Saucer (Pack of 2) this for 305 Rs with GCHY4E49IZ1C coupon. It is 220rs each for cup&saucer set (200ml). So, 300 coffee powder + 2 set for 305 was a good deal i guess.

That's the problem with online shopping, refund of money will always be nightmare. I always try to deal with Cash on delivery, if that is not possible, i used to leave that deal. Only I pay cash before receiving the product, if the price is within 300 buck. Any thing more than this, I will always prefer COD.
Fighting through mail for my money is not my cup of tea.

COD is not available through all websites and it is not available for certain products either.
There is a deduction is refunds but not as high as they are making them to be.
They are using false advertising to market the product and then say its not available after the payment is made.I think this is fraudulent, don't think they will be in business too long if this continues.The problem is that how many shoppers will fall prey to this type of shady businesses before any action is taken and they are forced to shut shop.Another problem being a lot of these businesses come back with changed identity.
