I ordered Puma Runner shoes from flipkart for 229 RS . MRP was 2999, It was manufactured in dec 2012. 18 months old ! I do not think I would have got that 92% discount on an 18 month old product anywhere else. The product looked good too. Unfortunately, the size available suited only my wife and not me. 5 instead of 10 :(

So, any factory seconds would have given me maximum 50%.

I bought my formal shoes from Yebhi.com with a great discount 1499 instead of 4999 and still in great shape. (almost 2+ years)

By the way, snapdeal has already taken the products back. Hope i get a replacement than refund !

agree with the change part, one should change his phone if one foresees issues and/or before it starts giving troubles. No point wasting $$ in repairing it.

Atleast you will get a decent amount in the 2nd hand market as compared to selling a non working phone.

In the past 1 month I ordered various goods from Snap deal worth 30,000 rs.Previously I used to order from Flip kart and ebay, but Snap deal has the best offers compared to these two other websites.I didn't have any complaints so far,all the goods received are in good condition and working perfectly.

Worried about flipkart becoming walmart of India and driving out small retailers over the next 10 years., After that it may jack up prices

Should I worry about my package being delivered by Flipkart?

Okay, so as most of us are aware of the Big Billion Day on 6th October on Flipkart, offering steal deals, I ordered a Motorola Moto E for my bro (Not as a gift, he didn't know much about online shopping so I ordered it, for him). For payment, I used a debit card. This isn't the first time shopping online for me, but this is the first time I'm not doing it as a cash-on-delivery. So, this IS silly but I was wondering what if the delivery guys pocket it? I mean, one forged signature is all they need - sometimes not even that.

One more thing: the ad I saw said they offered it at 5,999 but the website stated it's available for 5,499 , but there were several other things wanted, but surprisingly there was no discount on them. For e.g. There was a Kodak camera worth 11,190 after some other discount and just 1,190 after the BBD discount as the ad stated but the actual website quoted the original price i.e. 11,190.
There were awesome TVs, headphones, laptops etc. but all had the same case [frustration]. Man, I could have gotten rid of my 18 yr old CRT for a brand new LG 32".

Please relive me of my anxiety.

Thanks.

Re: Should I worry about my package being delivered by Flipkart?

If they are shipping via Ekart Logistic you are safe, Don't worry your product will be delivered on time.

Yes we all know about Big Billion Out Of Stock Day - As I want many thing to grab but most of the desired thing is either not eligible to deliver my Pin code (which is serious goof up from FK end) or before I clicked all Out Of Stock.

Since 2012, I bought many things from FK (WS Retail) and all are Pre-Paid, not a single item is missing or stole by delivery guy.

Thank you very much, they are shipping using ekart. But here's a new problem. When I click on track my order, it shows that the attached image. Does this mean that it will be packed later or is this a problem?

I am sorry for your inability to enjoy the sale.

EDIT: Did I mention this is the first time me shopping on Flipkart?

Thanks again.

Nope, This is not possible that seller will pack later, Ship first.

Contact customer care by forwarding the screenshot via E-mail (I mean by written media), so that you have proof in your hand. Don't wait before it too late.

I think they simply missed Packing Entry, but any way contact them ASAP for rectification.

It is not our in-ability. It is FK who doesn't stack up reasonable number of products for such a demand. People were keen on some products, but most of the time, they inflated the price and gave discount, which is nothing but regular discounts. And steal deals, don't pull me in. I was waiting for it like madman, and just before I finished paying, it was Out of Stock.

It is not a good sale, if some 1000 customers bought it in offer price, when rest are all buying at usual discounted price.

[frustration][frustration]

Life is full of problems. They have not given their *proper* email. I wrote to them from the customer care option. Fingers crossed...

EDIT: THIS IS HORRIBLE!!! Now the cart says I haven't ordered anything (the item is still in my cart) and when I click on track my order, it shows me an order!!! I'm uploading snapshots.
