Naaptol.com - better avoid at all
I have ordered 1080p Spy glasses from Naaptol.com. I received in 7 days by COD, I paid, received parcel, open up & tested. It was recording only 720p (while advertised by naaptol.com as Branded Real 1080p camera). Even documentation printed that it records in 720p only. So I registered complaint back, there were 2 calls from naaptol.com asking the problem & I narrated whole issue & wished to sent it back. next call was informing me that they are sending two SMS informing which courier & when it will come to pickup parcel back. But since then I had not received any SMS. Later I complaint via email to customer care, but no response.

Snapdeal.com - my exclusive online purchase site
On contrary to this, I ordered Autonation - Universal Car Mount Adjustable Mobile Cell Holder with Charger for Smartphone. Though advertised to fit all Samsung smartphone, after I received by COD & I paid, I found that it doesn't fit my Samsung Note phone at all. I lodged the complaint & next day got call from courier that when he should come to take back the parcel ( & that too free). I repacked & send back the parcel & asked customer care how they are going to refund me. If I would have paid by card or netbanking, it should have automatically paid back to that, but as I had paid by cash on COD (cash on delivery), they asked me whether they send cheque in my name or they credit to my account as SD cash. Their prompt & elite service had impressed me, & hence I opted for SD cash, & since then I had purchased 7-8 items from snapdeal.com & no regrets. Kudos to snapdeal. Give me experience as if I am purchasing like my previous visits in US.

Hey Guys! any one have experience about Groupon ?
Last time I orders car window curtains, it was so bad that returned back and still I am waiting from them for refund.

My advise would be don't buy anything from Group on

Yeah i have ordered from aliexpress. It's a good site , products are the same as displayed. Just make sure the seller's rating is good and check the number of orders and the feedback.

Items will be delivered in 30-50 days.

All online automotive shopping issues and resolutions

Hi All,
I recently purchased 4 items from a online store called Autotrends.in
This was the first time I was purchasing from that site. I have been shopping online for years now, but for the first time I have experienced such a thing. This is the reason I am writing this.
The items I purchased were 2 perfumes, 1 3M dashboard dresser and 1 Formula1 upholstery cleaner. This was ordered on april 6th 2015. As usual I recieved the confirmation email and after 3 days i received an sms with the shipping details. I never recieved any email about shipping. It was couriered through DTDC, and they provided me with a reference number. As couriers usually take 24-48 hours to update the status on their site, i waited for 2 days. But even after that i didn't see any details and the reference number was invalid. I still waited for 10 days and emailed them last week as they were not receiving the calls on the number provided on their website.
I never recieved any reply to that email. I was getting an idea about the trouble I was getting into. after numerous calls, someone finally picked up on Apr 17 2015. A guy said he will return back with a call and all details, but nobody called. after around 5 hours I called again, a lady picked up, I explained everything and asked if they can provide me an update of the products as I am not able to track it. To which she bluntly replied "I cannot help" and she hung up the phone.
Today again I emailed them and have asked them if they can start refunding my money as I had already paid it through CC. But I am not sure I will get an reply.

I am writing this as I am not able to understand what should I do next. what should be my next course of action. I have no idea about the legal things to be done. I will be glad if anyone could help me out.

Also I have opened this thread so that everyone else can post if they have faced anything like this with any other online seller, so that people would be careful next time while purchasing and take necessary steps.

Debasish, It appears a case of "Return to Origin". I guess your consignment has been sent back to seller itself by courier guys. In this case, you'll have to first cross check with the seller whether they have received back your consignment. If they have, then request them to re-send the same through other courier. This includes no new charges at all. It at times happens that the some areas aren't catered by courier companies. Also sometimes they simply play laid back. Until you don't receive your consignment you'll have to follow up, as no other way is there.

In case, you still don't get back your stuff after all of the above, mark a letter/e-mail to the bank whose Credit Card you used for the payment to the seller. State that you haven't received any product so far so you want the money to be credited back to your card. Do follow the guidelines for the same from bank's end.

Finally, Do have a look at Akosha, a consumer grievance forum. It can be helpful in solving your issue asap.
