Hello GautamJ,
Your PMs bounced off because my inbox has hit the limit. BTW,

1. Projectors do no do justice with halogens. HID is what you need.
2. In my XUV i have to open battery and coolant resiorvior, Wiper fluid hose and hood retention clip. In I10 i have to remove entire headlights out.
Guess its common these days.
3. No wire splicing will be required. Just a small tear in Dust cap to pass wires. Skill of installer is paramount to preserve warranty.
There is an Anniversary sale at AE in couple of days. I'm thinking about getting HID kit. I don't want to end up ordering a wrong product. Can you please tell me which HID bulb type should i order for Hyundai H27 fog lamps. I'm thinking about getting the entire HID kit including projectors for fog lamps. There is a brand called Sinolyn in AE which is recommended. Should cost approx 5,500 rs for the entire kit.

For stuffing into H27 OEM fog, you need a H27 kit.
But if you want to add projectors, it depends what bulbs projectors take. these are usually H1 or H7.

Our member TDautoz also sells total Fog projector kit with HID and all. This replaces entire fog housings. It would be better to get that rather than drill out existing fogs.

What's AE? Please share, I'd also love to pick some good products. [:)]

Happy to know I'm not alone. A majority of Tiago owners complain about poor headlights whereas I have always felt them (low beam) to be sufficient. I believe it's the relative brightness that they are comparing with, as almost all car owners immediately swap their bulbs to illegal 90/100 spec.
I am satisfied with the kelvins, spread and throw of Tiago's Low Beams. Lumens are bit on lower side but rest all parameters are perfect for the car.
It's High Beam is not upto the mark though, but coupled with Low-Beam (while pulling the dipper-switch) the output is awesome!

I always take a TD in night before picking a car to test its lights as well. Tiago passed that particular TD. Only complaint is with the useless foglights in front. With those minuscule 19w it is not going to help in any way. My other cars have 35 and 55w fogs and they all give fantastic spread with high-beams on highways.

I am looking for some VFM pulg-n-play replacement for them with some extra lumens, but all in vain till date. Headlight bulbs will surely be replaced with PXVs soon.

Hello All,

Since my Creta's headlight bulb alignment was spoiled by Hyundai Service Center, the local accessories shop guy agreed to adjust it and he suggest to go for the below one.
Please suggest whether I can go for this. My car has Projector headlight.

Philips HB3 9005 X-treme Vision Headlight Bulb (12V, 65W)

Thanks

Yes he has suggested the right one for your car, so you can go ahead.
I too got a HB3 9005 HID kit put for my Verna recently. Verna and Creta have the same projectors.

I do not know how I noticed this thread so late. You do have quite deep knowledge of all and anything related to automotive bulbs and lights. Congrats on that. Keep spreading the light@bhvm .It helps us all.

H4 bulbs are difficult to upgrade.
You can go for overpriced premium halogens like Philips / Osram NB and have only little upgrade. Or you could try a gamble with LED headlights. Cree chips are generally very good, but focus depends on reflector compatibility.
Thank you bhvm but I have lost interest in headlight upgrade offlate and gonna stay put with stock setup for a while [:)].

Thanks bhvm,
Yesterday I went to the accessory shop and installed the LED bulb. The shop guy suggest, this will give best result. I have attached 2 pictures. I did not take any picture for the bulb.
I need to test the light brightness tonight. He could not do the alignment because of the sun light and asked me to bring the car in the night to do the alignment.

I am totally disappointed with this LED bulb and I called the accessories shop guy and he agreed to take back this. So yesterday I returned this LED bulb and put Philips HB3 9005 X-treme Vision Headlight Bulb (12V, 65W).
