Hi All,

Below are the pictures for LED Conversion kits installed on 2nd Gen Mahindra XUV500 for feedback. Initially the output was not good enough, however, customer wanted to use the same light and we guided over phone to get the best output out of it. After efforts of approx 3-4hrs aligning just the HIGH Beam below is the output which he got. Hope you all like it too.

I own a Ciaz ZDI 2016 model and night driving on highways is a nightmare. Can somebody which is a better upgrade - LEDs or HIDs? I'm inclined towards LEDs for their better durability and life, but not sure on how they'll fare during rains. Should I also upgrade the fog lamps?

Please help.

If i am not wrong the Ciaz ZDi is having projector setup for lo beam and normal reflectors for Hi beam. In projectors LED is not recommended as the OEM projectors have hazy lens which distracts the output alot. So its better to go for good quality HID for Lo beam. For hi beam LED will be a good option if 4300K or 5000K is the color temp.

Also, there best options for upgrading the Fog lamp all together with Bi-Xenon FOG Projectors which will be plug and play one time investment and you will hardly require the headlamps for driving. Below is the output pic of lo beam of Fog projectors & Hi beam is rarely required as they are so bright.

Now question comes where to buy - These days the items are available at multiple re sellers. Ours (UGLARE brand) are a bit costlier, but would share the link to the people selling it for cheap.

Uglare Kit - Pair of Fog Projectors and 35W HID Kit combo Costs Rs 12300/- but for Automotive India Customer we give the max discount and sell it for Rs 10000/-

However these kits are at sale with
1- Xenon Planet who is selling these for Rs 8500/- with 55W HID Kit
2- Blaze India FB link (https://www.facebook.com/blaze.india) - Selling for 6900/-
Above prices were few days back one has to confirm.

Difference - We have not tested their Projectors lens but looks same to us. Our HID kits are totally different technology wise. Not sure how they are so cheap that we cant even compete. [lol]

Hope this helps. In case of any query one can directly watsapp/Call on +91 9818952900. We would be more than happy to help and guide you to get the right product at right prices.

TDAutoz

P.S: Our Prices include GST and we might be paying full duty[frustration]

Hi,
please do the alignment and post some pics. The fogs seem very bright from the pics but without alignment, there seems to be a lot of glare.

Hi All,
bringing the thread alive again, could you advise, which of these would be better fit (especially from low beam perspective). I'm bit naive, when it comes to understand the technicalities of all these LED's; hence seeking advice

Option 1:
CNSUNNYLIGHT-Car-LED-Headlight-Bulbs

Option 2:
Cree-Replacement-Bulb-With-Anti-Dazzling

Also, how does LED's fair in Hi Beam's especially the throw and spread

I’m planning to replace low beam (H7) for my car fiat linea. If things work out good I might as well replace high beam (H1) as well

I’m much disappointed with low beam throw and spread of low beam. Hi beam is acceptable but anything better would be welcome

I earlier thought of HID in hi beam; but would loose out on flashing ability

I was going to say the same thing,
LEDs are mondo bright but they're spreading the light everywhere. No cutoff nor focus.

I suggest you start by upgrading the Low beams and fogs with 35W 4300k HID.
LEDs work well in high beam. The distance isnt much but spread and width is good. However 4300k is not properly available in LED.

Sure bro, will send the pic of the bulb and I don't have multimeter with me.

Thinking to change those bulbs as soon as the Aprilia completes his first service.
Invest in a cheap DMM worth 300~400. It'll help in determining if the power to bulb socket is DC or AC. If its AC, further mods will be required.

Do you suggest HID in lo as well?? Ido not have projector setup; won’t it just blind the opposite person

The car in question is fiat linea with H7 lo and H1 high & fog in halogen setup

Which LED do you recommend from the above option i shortlisted, in 2 previous post; if HID isn’t suggested without projector
