@Arijitb

I'm sure the bulbs which bhvm recommended would be more brighter and better than the one's i got. The reason i went with the CN360 LED was because of a friend who got them and spoke highly about the effective high beam and cutoff. Plus they were much cheaper at 18$ compared to 47$ for the CREE Led from Cnsunnylight which bhvm recommended. Since performance of LED bulbs can be a gamble depending on the reflectors of the car, i dint feel comfortable investing a lot of money on them. I believe the prices have dropped now and it costs around 37$ which is a good price, if you are new to AE, you can knock off another 4$ using the new user coupon. If your budget allows, I would suggest you to stick with the one BHVM recommended.

Regarding the LED's i have got, i'm very satisfied with the upgrade particularly the beam cut off which is great for a LED headlight on a stock reflector. I don't think you can ask for a better headlight upgrade for 1000 rupees. Heck, i paid 1600 rs for a so called premium halogen ( Osram night breakers) which is not anywhere close to the brightness and throw of the LED bulbs.

The dashcam footage i uploaded in this thread isn't the best quality to showcase how good these LED's bulbs are. I have bought a new phone with stabilization cam, will be uploading a more clear and better video during this weekend.

Thank You bhvm for the confirmation, please let me know which one to choose?

This one from the fellow member which have small heatsink https://www.aliexpress.com/store/pr...406.html?spm=2114.12010608.0.0.47571192XOJ2WN which got color temperature 6000k - Is this effective enough in rainy season as well as Fog?

OR your post couple of page back which got 'Warm White' option but huge heatsink.
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/New...lgo_pvid=83b30e1f-09de-4e0c-8219-0e60ab584e14

My question (1) both models got detachable heatsink? (2) Can Both models install in MS Ritz?

Kindly Please Confirm.

P.S: - One more thing due to very little room inside the bonnet of MS Ritz Diesel Model which is my car -To get access to the Left Side headlight bulb need to remove the 65 ah battery from the car completely - I just need to mention this in case there is some space problem..the picture of my previous post is from the right-hand side headlamp which is easy to access.
1. For the ultimate upgrade, I would suggest this one-
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/120...47f3-4fc5-a305-5a93bb1a3c4b&priceBeautifyAB=4

They all look same but this is using a big boss Cree XHP-50 CHip.

2. The color should be choosen Warm white or 4300k. As 6000k will not be effective in bad weather.

3. You should message the seller to ask if heatsink can be removed. Often the H4 metal ring can be removed and installed first. Then entire bulb can be twisted in place.

4. In xuv you have to remove Battery for navigator side. And also remove coolant tank, Washer fluid pipe and hood retainer hook for the driver side. I guess Cramped enginebays are the unfortunate norm in modern cars. But as yours is external boot type, the hassle is much lesser.

While going through Aliexpress app found a 4$ welcome back coupon. I was wondering what i can order to utilize the coupon then suddenly the thought of upgrading the fog lamps with LED's came to mind, ordered a a set of LED's for the fog lamp. I paid a total of $12.99( ~850 rs) for the lamps including shipping. Now that is a sweet deal. Here is the link of the product i ordered.

Chip placement on this LED lamp looks similar to the LED bulbs housed in my headlights. Hopefully, they would do a decent job in the fog lamp assembly.

Since the fog lamps are closer to the ground they are more exposed to dirt, muds etc. I'd avoid a LED with a fan there as clogging the fan will be more. I'd suggest to buy a fanless one.

I bought this one

I already bought it and seller has shipped it too. The thought of dirt , mud clogging the fan never striked me.I should have done more research.

The LED lamps you bought looks very similar, in-fact they look the same as the one's i bought for my headlights. Same product different seller i guess. BTW, did you buy the LED lamps to upgrade fogs or headlight ?

I have LED lamps on my scooter too.
Fan does not seem to have a problem long term (2 years).
However, if you perform Offroading/Mudding there is a chance mud will get into fans and then harden there itself, Destroying the fans. However, As these are waterproof, Direct a good jet of water at the rear of bulbs , that should remove all dirt.

There are also Copper tape (String) type options available these days-

BTW,
HID H8 is also available at good price-

Both
@bhvm

Pardon my ignorance, isn't fog lamps sealed? On my Grand i10, i can't even locate the area to reach the fog lamp socket. User manual is of no help either.
For accessing fog lamp socket you have to remove a part of the fender liner which is usually screwed or held with a clip. It's very easy once you know how to.

Have put the LED's lights to good use during last weekend. On dark roads, the lights are simply brilliant however on well lit streets, beam is hardly visible. I'm waiting for my LED fog lights to be delivered. Can't wait to see the results. Here are a few pictures i clicked. First 2 pictures are low beam and high beam pointing at a wall from 10 feet distance . Last 3 pics are, nolights, low beam and high beam respectively.

Your car could easily be the best example of LED retrofit compatibility. The both Low and high beam have kept their definition and there is no stray glare. Even the distance in High beam is excellent! Good job
BTW, what car is that?

Thanks bro, it wouldn't have been possible without your valuable suggestions [clap]

The car is a Hyundai Grand i10.
Just FYI, the LED fog lights i have ordered has reached our shores. Should be delivered to me in next 2-3 days. Will get them installed and post the pics. Aliexpress shipping times has greatly improved. It used to take more than a month earlier and now it takes hardly 10-12 days.

You fixed the HID in the stock fog lamp reflector? How is the lighting? Any photo of the beam?
Yes do post pics.
Hids in reflector fog housings provide a good output atleast in XUV as demonstrated by bhvm sir in this forum.
But reflectors for different case are different. So please post some pics. If it's good many Verna owners may benefit from it.
Here ya go
The photo is not of the best quality and due to auto exposure settings they are not very accurate. The HIDs have a very wide spread. Now this may sound wrong, but the glare caused by HIDs is actually very useful to spot motorcyclist's without any working tail-lamps on highways. Again, I don't use HIDs in the city as XV are enough on roads with street lights.

Anyway, all these recent posts with nice LED cut-offs makes me want to try my luck with LEDs one more time :stupid:
I will switch when the time comes to replace Xtreme Vision plus. By then, hopefully we will have some good 4300k LED's (AFAIK, current one's just put a cover with yellow tint on the bulb) as I am not buying another 6000k bulb for my main headlamp. In my experience, 6000k bulbs become useless when driving in rains and you can't see anything.

what shipping method did you use at Aliexpress - Please share.
I already place an order for CNC light suggested here, but now I'm worried when I see the final delivery will be handled by Indian Post...This is my first order from AE.

I choose the default shipping method which i believe was "Aliexpress standard shipping".
Don't worry about Indian post, they do a good job. I have ordered many items from Ebay.com & Ali express in the past which was shipped by Indian post, all the items were delivered without fail. You just need to ensure that you don't opt for shipping method which doesn't offer any tracking number.
