Today for the first time i saw one KWID. The car was in red color and i must say it looks way way better than the alto, eon, celerio etc. At the first glace I was so confused that I thought it was a mini cross over ![[:D]](https://www.theautomotiveindia.com/forums/images/smilies/Big%20Smile.gif "Big Smile [:D]")
. The car was loaded with chrome front chrome grill and chrome door handles etc. I must say Renault has done a fabulous job while designing the exterior of KWID.

Yes All the Renault Showrooms are of Trident Group.
Regarding the waiting period, I had enquired the same last week and I was told 2.5 to 6 months depending on Variant/Color.
White/Silver/Grey are available quicker while Red/Dark Green will take time.
RXT with Airbag has highest waiting followed by RXL according to the dealer.
With Renault having a large plant and thier Scala & Pulse not selling well why can't they produce more Kwids ? I guess if this waiting period thing continues then the Non-Enthusiastic Common Man will not go for Kwid in future.

thanks Nishant. Trident group always over charge for their services and they are overloaded with vehicles and not customer oriented (as per my experience with them on Chevrolet and switched back to Kropex).

I have started seeing many Kwids in Bangalore roads and must say it looks very good except the rear. The white kwids rocks!

Posting after 2 long years! too busy life..back to topic, I found better rear view mirrors on the first models during launch and it is not present in any of the production models. why?. Alloy wheels were also given as accessory during launch but it is not present among accessories now. why?

As of now the waiting period ranges between 2 months to 4 months at some places and the wait period might get prolonged due to Chennai floods. Also, I would exercise caution getting any Renault, Ford or Hyundai at the moment since their stockyards might have got affected due to floods.

@Caruns that alloys are very rare with three lug nuts.May be the owner needs to order it on a need basis. It was a surprising find about the mirror though.Price cutting evident,I think.

While booking the KWID the Salesperson told me , that you can purchase these alloy wheel as accessories . I don't remember , but cost of alloy wheel around 25-30 K .

Just visited Renault showroom lucknow, as per the sales person booking for kwid is over 800 and it will take at least 7 months for delivery. I think Zica will be benefited much from this situation. Many people who booked kwid can cancel it and book 'zica' because of this delay.
