I miss those full length official reviews of new cars which we used to get here on TAI. I think the last one we had was i20 Elite by 350z (Vibhor Sir).

Kwid will surely increase Renault's Market Share but this will again be a Lone selling model for company ala the Duster during its period in 2012-14. With Duster sales coming down and Lodgy nit doing well and Fluence being almost buried, Renault have a tough task in selling its cars. Again the Kwid is great car but Renault needs to ensure the waiting period doesn't go beyond limit. They should cut down some exports and make more Kwids, it will definitely dent thier profit a bit but will also give people confidence regarding the product. And Renault is no Maruti either, so waiting period has to come down if Kwid is to be a good seller for the company.

I have driven one and found it to be better then Alto in many ways, only things against it are resale, service network, after sales, reliability.

I am going to purchase my first car. I want to keep the budget as minimum as possible but want the car which gives me pleasure to drive. I have no requirement of car and yearly usage will be within 2000 to 3000 km, but I am very passionate for cars. Can u suggest me to choose between brio emt & kwid top model?

As a first car if the choice is between these I suggest you buy This Kwid, has good all round package.
However the V-Tec engine of Brio is anyday better than the Kwid when viewed from performance front.

If you are passionate about cars, you will really not choose either of them. Kwid is hardly the car for an enthusiast, nor is the Brio. The minimum you need is an Abarth Punto.

It won't do justice to Punto Abarth if he is driving just 2000 or 3000 KMS a year. KWID is good to start with.

Thank u friends, you all have given good advice to me.
Well I have taken test drives of alto800, eon, i10, celerio, brio, nrew figo, bolt, polo.
From my test drives, I have categorized my experience on ride quality & fun to drive as below:
1. Not impressive: alto 800, celerio. I must say eon was worst , specially its power steering which was very heavy. Kwid was slightly good
2. I10 was OK
3. Figo is good but brios is even better.
4. Vw polo was superb.
Pls correct me if I am wrong.

So now I have made my mind that I will not go for cars mentioned at serial no 1 & 2.
Will try to get a very good deal in new brio vxmt or a used polo comfortline or high line. I would also love to test drive a baleno.
Can any one suggest me how is the fun to drive factor in baleno?

I guess you have to consider more cars in your circle when you decided to drive the Baleno, however, please start a separate thread about your buying decision as this is going off topic.

I saw one Kwid last week and must say it looked well and has a decent exterior looks. 6 months waiting periods is surprising for sure, but then we have to see how Renault takes up the situation(w.r.t Maruti) [roll].

Why dont you try the Nissan Micra ? It is also very light and easy to drive, and gives great mileage (to me atleast) in its Automatic avatar (14-15 kmpl). Plus it is more comfortable than the Brio and has got more boot space , and more features.

Today for the first time i saw one KWID. The car was in red color and i must say it looks way way better than the alto, eon, celerio etc. At the first glace I was so confused that I thought it was a mini cross over [:D] . The car was loaded with chrome front chrome grill and chrome door handles etc. I must say Renault has done a fabulous job while designing the exterior of KWID.
