I also sometime doubt if they are providing the same quality parts inside out to us as they do for the European markets. This is definitely not a VFM SUV, Renault is just craving this as a well built and quality product but this just remains a question as of now and need to see how it fairs in the long run say at-least for a year!
As said above, Renault is treating Indian market Un-educated! Wake up Renault, those days are gone, atleast 30 to 40% of the Indian car market is educated and know what they are buying. These initial sales number won't last long!
And the best part is that all this models for the uk will be made in India and sold in uk cheaper then India . The UK version even get ESP as an option that too cheaper than india.

Duster complies with most of the road demands. BUT only one thing I am concerned, ie. about Duster's tired frontal looks. . I saw one parked besides the Wagon R the height was same as of wagon R but the width was more. I didn't get a X-factor surprise while spotting a duster parked. Although I love duster's 110 ps refined drive quality and suspension.

Renault Duster TD Review
Hello guys,
We had a first look with Duster on launch day and TD on next day after the launch.
So,sharing my TD Experience with Duster.
Seating-Comfort and space is best IMO.It had the best comfort and space.This is my personal opinion.It had 5 seater rather than 7 seater.So,we could fit 7 seats in the last row as an accessory option.
Interior-Interiors looks cheaper like Maruti 800 and Fiat's.It doesn't have Auto Climate Control,Touch Screen Player.
Performance-Performance is best for an SUV.As it displaces 110HP,Duster is the engine I had ever seen.
Pricing-Pricing seems to be okay.It is priced less XUV500 W6 by 1-1.5L,Innova GX by 1L.So,for these features,XUV500 W6 makes sense.Duster doesn't makes sense for this pricing.

These are the OTR prices of Duster 110HP at Hyderabad.
Didn't TD Duster 85HP.

Yes,you are right Superbad,some are cancelling the 110HP due to production shortage.Add myself also.Because,I too cancelled my Duster 110HP 20 days ago.

I think the main reason of cancellation of 110 ps is that its price falls very close to XUV W6 so may be many are thinking its not VFM. Moreover, most got 110 ps booked because at time of launch that was the only model available for test drive, but later they changed their mind after going through the 85 ps test drive and reviews posted on net. RXZ 110 ps is more prone to cancellation because it seems overpriced. May be XUV 500 is a bundle of major/minor niggles but by investing 1L more, we get a mightier engine, road presence, better legroom & various gadgets + cheaper parts and great network of service centers across India. In my city RXZ 110 ps models are over stock.
Renault made a hurry in launching the Duster. Had they trained there dealers to make booking in an organized manner and kept both the models available for test drive, they may had been successful in converting bookings into deliveries. Amendment in orders are wasting time and causing many customer to fizzle out for other brands.
I am in a catch-22situation either to cancel my RXZ 110 ps booking and re-consider other brands or to give the French a benefit of doubt.

Saw a grey Duster on road alongside an i10. Man! it is shorter than the i10 too. Did not feel the road presence of a SUV.
