I am staying on Begur Road(bommanahalli) is on the way to our trip, so it is easy for me to join you guys. BTW any of our member stay near that area

Even Vijay Mallya having finance problem. Be positive. Everything will fall in place.

You really can think of RK's plan. Traveling in Volvo - you can sleep and they drive :D - Save Tolls and Petrol- almost 500rs toll -Volvos normally reach faster than cars
Only down side is that you cant show your ride ! Drive Safe.

Appu mentioned in one thread he will be able to join if it is yelagiri /velloore. I think he needs to travel another 96KM. (From Yelagiri junction to Hosur). He can do it for sure as it takes just 1 to 1.30 hrs extra

It will be live again once Ram sir updates the info.

Yes, more than any body it is for APPU the venue is easy as he travel to Vellore every weekend from Chennai.

Ha ha, Thanks for that buddy. Just I have recovered from a big think which was a mind eating problem for me for past 5 years. I always live with positive mind. Anyway thanks for more positive energy.

100%. when showing our rides to our TAIins will be the main fun how can i miss my sparky. already my sparky missed last pondy meet. so if am coming I will come with my sparky.

I spoke with appu today and he is in big dialama and not able to decide. so i have told him that if am going he can join me if he want. Just discussing with Dhaya over SMS. Still not confirmed.

I just got the first hand information about Mathigiri - not positive - they are not giving permission to go inside now, and the lawn and the trees are dried up due to summer heat. However I will go there on Monday and inspect personally, if not suitable, I will go to Jain farms - Bagalur, and gather the information. If Bagalur is working out, Chennai members can come there via Hosur.

Mathigiri is about 6 kms from Hosur, and Bagalur is 12 kms, and doesn't make much difference. And in case Mathigiri doesn't work out, Jain Farms - Bagalur is OK for all members? Please confirm before I go, or any other suggestion?

If you ask them over phone, the first thing they ask you is 'how many people?'. So, if you have some numbers, they may give you a better rate. If you are not looking for food, it should be less than 100rs for the entry. (Lunch buffet itself is 325rs. so they wont be charging like that).

Oh people please don't want Tamil Nadu, because its too hot and humid(no offence meant because i being from there),we are already facing a lot of heat here in Bangalore, so it would be better if we meet near hosur.

The information was very helpfus appus, i think 325 is neither too costly and one can afford for the meet. what say guys?

The problem is, they have lunch buffet for 325 only on Sunday (as per groupon Link ). Do not know for rest of the days. If they do not have food on Saturdays, they wont be charging 325Rs for entry. If there are 10-15, you can even ask them whether they can arrange the same buffet on Saturdays too.

appus ; based on the first hand information, Mathigiri is not all that attractive as of now. But still if all are keen on this venue, I can personally go there and find out. I feel we can call up Jain farms and get the details tomorrow, we can give a tentative figure of 15 people. The plus points are - food, parking and meet, all in one place, and access also the same like to Mathigiri.

Guys, looks like auditors at my office will put me into a fix. Because of year end financial audit, I ended up working this Saturday.! Don't want to miss the meet, but in case the same scenario repeats on 27th, might have to catch up wit you guys at the meeting point and skip the meet

Hi Guys!!!

I just called up Jain farms office and spoke to one Mr Pawan, he said buffet lunch is available on Saturdays also and the charge is Rs 250/- per head, there is no separate entry fee on anything , and for Sundays Rs 400/-. For breakfast and snacks it will be extra. Group discount is available only for 100 people and above.

Seems very reasonable.
