Yeah, That looks quite good for our meet, so I vote for it from my side, friends what do you say, let us go to a different place this time from regular famous spots always !!

There looks to be lot of greenery, a ground, lot of trees and it is not a regular spot so we don't find much crowd too

Am also ok with any place. Meet is more important than the place Yes, main factor is - it should be away from the city bustle and less crowded.

That place suggested by A R Ram seems to be good for me and not too far too and gives chance for the chennai members also since it is on Bangalore Chennai way

I would also suggest Hesarghatta grasslands around bangalore, though I have not visited this place heard its a good.

Hi Guys!!!

There is a place called Mathigiri near Hosur and there is a cattle farm, 190 years old. Adjacent to that there is a ground spread over many acres. Its like a big lawn with lot of trees especially the big old banyan tree. People used to play cricket, use it for get together, meetings venue and picnic etc. There are lot of restaurants around Hosur. But I don't know the present situation of this place, and if it ok for everyone, I will find out the present details.

Current details of Mathigiri is on the way. I think a prior permission (a simple process) is required to go inside. Waiting for your decision. This is less than 10 kms from Hosur town

Hi people, sorry for the late entry, i am closely following this thread but somehow i miss replying here, okay here it goes.

- It's ideal to meet at places which is usually plain lands and with some trees(to avoid the heat).
- The places suggested by AR Ram suits our purpose well.
- If it is near hosur road, then most of the members can make it as it would be below 100kms(up and down).
- We have to start early in the morning to avoid the blazing sun.


I'll give the tentative timings for the meet.

7:00 am - We shall meet at a place, have introductions with each other and all.
7:30 am - Start driving to the Venue, might take 30 to 60 minutes to reach the place.
8:30 am - Checking out each other rides and chit chatting.
9:30 am - Have our breakfast.(we shall get it packed in some restaurant en-route).
10:00 am - All our photo session and the likes of it will continue.

Sethu sir, please try to make it. Because these days its really gets hot as the day progresses to enjoy. So as Vishwas has suggested, itd ideal to start the meet as early as possible. Another advantage would be we will beat the traffic as well

That plan looks goo, since the venue is not a far place, so 1 hour + or - is ok I feel and moreover i feel our meet will continue till evening and sethu can join us by afternoon and go back in the evening so it is verymuch possible for sethu and appu
