Hi guys!!!

Its only a suggestion.

Consider Nandi Hills - if only Bangalore members are there.

Or if Chennai members can make it - consider Yercaud also, nearly 230 kms from Bangalore. Chennai guys cam meet up at Krishnagiri and then continue together.

I second Ram for Nandi Hills.

oops. its 350 KMs from chennai. nearly 6 hours drive. May not be able to make it in single day, at-least for me.

Nandi Hills is too crowded in weekends and too dirty. Lots of people land up there and have messed up the whole area, there is no decent place to sit also except for the lone restaurant.

There was a small resort at base of Nandi Hill and I have heard good reviews about it. I will try to dig more info about same.

Yes, most of the people say there is nothing much exciting at Nandi hills and its crowded too much too.

Krishnagiri Dam. Just 7kms from Krishnagiri. Not a crowded place, dam with a small park, quite and unexploited, but nothing at all exciting.

Yup very true. The charm of Nandi hills is gone!
How about some resort to spend the whole day? There are a lot of resorts (all ranges) on the Yelahanka-Doddaballapur road. What say guys?

Good place but water availability is a question. Last year in August I visited and because of rain, plenty of water was there in falls. If anyone visited in recent days that can be helpful.

^^ Between Bangalore & Mysore. But yes, I really doubt the water levels now. Its usually good to visit during rains or just after rains
