I think you need to shift to "smart working" mode soon !! handling everything from remote thru' internet/laptop/smart phone. In today's technology the physical presence can be minimal wish you implement that. Hmm, Appu twins featured on the thread, good to see you all friends, post suggestions for the venue which should be between Bangalore and Chennai at a equal distance with some nice road too !!

Just been to Yelagiri last weekend. The place isn't very great for now. We should probably find a good place where we can park our machines better or even want to test them good.

Here is my suggestion... How about Big Banyan Tree? Won't it be good to have a Nice drive in NICE Road and meet under the shade of the Banyan Tree. Heard it's a good picnic spot, but haven't visited yet.

I love that sir. I used to work in remote when I was in my previous company. Sometimes i even need not to go to office [More over I was Project manager and next to CEO over there, so I can take decisions] but the scenario is completely different here. First of all I have to face UNION which is one of the powerful setup in our country and that too in 60 years old AL, Ennore plant it is more powerful. I have to be very careful and prompt in delivering the net results. The sad part is even though I am not involved in any of the process directly [User department will take care of every process] I have to be here for emergency. If anything goes wrongly or does not work, my presence is required to solve it.
Simply to put, I was big fish in small pond in my previous company and here am small fish in ocean. So need to pay for it.
OOps 350 Kms, that would be very difficult for me. It does n't mean that I cant, but for now I cant make it.
If not Yelagiri nor Vellore, may be appu can suggest a place convenient for Chennai [mostly for me, sorry guys] members as well as Bangalore Members.
Guys in worst case I request you guys to meet in Bangalore itself. I do not know whether other members from Chennai are traveling for this meet. Till now there is no confirmation from chennai except me [Appu is vellore guy on that day so no problem for him]. I just checked that. So why to bother for me. I can meet you guys anytime [during non peak days of the month].
So don't take much pains in re-organizing the venue and end up in travelling more.

Now about the venue it is the sole decision of our Bangalore members as I am visitor to Bangalore and pooling with them !!

Just had a discussion with cooldhaya. He said that depending upon the venue he will try to attend the meet.
Same case for me too. If the venue is between Vellore-Banglore. I can able to attend the meet.
We have another place called Horsley Hills at AP. What is your opinion guys

Agreed. I do understand it would be far off for ones from Chennai. That was just a suggestion I thought about...
Let's decide based on number of attendees and convenience for most, if not all.

It just happened to read this tread and I wish to join you all guys on 27th. I was suppose to drive back to Kerala yesterday, but due to some urgent work came up here it got delayed. Now if I can post pone my trip till 28, I will surely be joining you guys.

Is NICE ROAD back in action? Our entry/exit (Near PESIT - LINK ROAD) is still not opened i guess. It is closed for renovation.
BigBanyanTree lost its charm it had 10 years back. Kind of became skeleton comparing the old one. Been there two years back. I did not even click a photo. I do not know the present condition/status.
