Quick Bangalore Meet (Update: Another Meet on 27th April 2013)

YES, we request members as suggested by vishwas and hope to a decent joyful meet and please be comfortable yourself as we just trying to take a day out from our hectic daily routine and trying spend time with like minded friends out there

regarding the meeting point , it should be a easy one after bommanahalli i think with some land mark famous on the road

The distance to Bagalur via Hosur is 53 kms. And how about the meeting point - opp. to Guestline Hotel and Resorts before Athibele, I think its a prominent place.

OR

Distance via Sarapura is 36 kms; And I am not familiar with this route, and anybody can suggest a meeting point?

I think Sarjapur route is shorter to reach jain forms as per google maps, but about the venue it again we depend on your feed back today and finalise the venue.

@Appus, some how you have to make it man !! See I am travelling all the way from Hyderabad for meet and Sethu travelling from Chennai, so this can be a strong reason for all the Bangalore friends to join us

I am still thinking a meet out side some where in natures beauty than the artificial forms and closed wall restrictions, just for an idea do we have any such places between hosur and dharmapuri or krishnagiri with lot of trees around

Most of others are looking for open place (as per the posts). Jain farms having 700 acres of land (if they are true to what they have mentioned). Guestline Resorts also may be kind of expensive too (for few bachelors/job hunters etc).

I think it is better to go thru Hosur so that people from chennai also can join you guys in Hosur so avoid the confusion. Otherwise they need to drive further down to Silkboard and meet you guys or directly reach the place.

Now you guys do not search for another venue. It may delay again. As per Jain farms, it is 700acres of land. So, should be like an open place.
Yelagiri is one option between Kirshnagiri - Velloore. May be many more km for Bangalore guys.

Just my suggestion :
Stick to what Vishwas said. Meeting point you decide where everyone is comfortable. Guys from Bangalore can meet after Elevated toll (After electronic city), ride towards Hosur and wait for Chennai guys (if they are reaching in the morning). If not, have breakfast, do some chit chat and reach the place around 9.30

I'm always passing Housr, Krishangiri like clouds. So, I don't know any places there.

Jain farms and not Mathigiri? Jain farms is in Bagalur (not much difference though)

What? both are different places? Or does any of the place comes en-route with each other?

EDIT: I just saw the google maps and found both are in different directions, so i feel Jain farms is better to hang around.

Hosur is the best place to meet, so i recommend we meet near the cross road which goes to Jain farms.

Its better if we drive from electronics city - hosur and Jain farms, because this route we know.

I am joining Girish in his ride for the meet. Girish & Varun have already confirmed. Lets fix a time to meet @ the above location (after E City flyover) so that everyone meets up at the sametime & then we move forward.

Hosur to Bagalur, road is pretty decent. All you need to do is drive straight and end up in Bagalur. Bagalur welcomes you with potholes followed by bus stand on your left and then a junction. You drive straight and in 100 -200 meters you will pass through market and the road is narrow when the market is there. I have seen the markets on weekend but not sure if it was only on Sunday or on Saturday too. You need to pass a bridge right after the market. They were constructing this bridge 8 months back, if I'm not wrong. Please someone check it, if the work has been completed.

Only bikes can pass through makeshift path, cars can't pass There is an alternate way which is very far to reach Jain Farm. So please makesure the construction work is completed.

From Attibele, you can take Sarjapur road, (you need to go below the first flyover and take right after crossing the toll, when you come from Hosur). For people coming from TN please beaware lot of speed breakers on this route. Once you reach Sarjapur (a dead end!) you need to take right, you will pass through Sarjapur busstand, keep driving straight, and need to pass through so undullated road (take right to this undullated road,) and follow it till ends and then take a left and drive straight. In a mile, you see a 'Y' fork, take right on it and drive straight you will reach Bagalur and in the dead end turn right, you will see the market!

Hope you are referring to the Signal next to the Elevated Highway Toll. Yes, we can rendezvous after this signal. Wide road, adequate to park all drives and wait for others.

Now, are we pooling in to avoid fuel wastage? I know the main idea is to get everyone's rides and and get a feel of each ones. However, if anybody would like to pool with others, that's a good idea too. To start with, I would be coming from Banaswadi, I would be more than happy to pick anyone on the way.

That "Little england" and "kelevarapalli project" looks to be good and are very near to Hosur, friends any thoughts on the same.

Bommanahalli is far from Banasawadi for a pick unless Figoian takes long route to reach the destination :)
