Today there was 2 accidents took place near to my house. First accident happened when two passenger tempos suddenly stopped from behind another tempo carrier carrying people rammed from behind. Nobody was injured but traffic was standstill for a while and after 2 minutes another tempo carrying passengers rammed a bike where there was some tense moment on the spot. Due to this accidents there was very huge traffic congestion. I will share the photos after sometime. The accidents happened in Virar (W).. There was hugh traffic jam nearby to the accident.

Saw this one on times of india which happened two days ago.

Parents negligence leads to an accident.

In a tragic incident, a seven-year-old boy on way to his grandparents' place with his mother and sister for a two-day vacation, became lifeless within seconds as he ran on the road only to be hit by a speeding bike.

Very bad accident, but how many vehicles was involved in this mishap. I feel due to heavy rain and slippery condition the drivers lost the control of their vehicles. Can you tell any casualties or injuries? How this accident happened and how many vehicles involved?

The truck containers are overturning in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai everytime, but the RTO and the govt is not taking any action on it. This accident happened yesterday.

Two accidents were reported on 7th Aug 2017.


  1. Three persons died and 4 suffered grievous injuries when a speeding car slammed the median and crossed over to the other lane to crash into two other vehicles on Bengaluru-Mysuru highway at Maddur, about 100km from Bengaluru. Initial investigations said the car had overshot the speed limit and its driver failed to control the vehicle at a steep bend on the highway. The link is here.
  2. Six persons died and 3 others suffered injuries, in an accident involving three cars, a two-wheeler and a truck in Rathnagiri, near Vellore, TN on Sunday. Police sources said a biker tried to take a U-turn in Nandhiyalam, a speeding Indica car with Tamil Nadu registration number applied a sudden brake to avoid hitting his two-wheeler. In the impact, driver Gnanaraj of Kancheepuram lost control of the vehicle. In no time, a Scorpio came from behind and rammed the car. The sports utility vehicle was driven by Govindaraj, a businessman from Bengaluru, who was accompanied by his relatives Laxmi Praba and Bhagyalakshmi. The two-wheeler rider was thrown off in the impact. Meanwhile, a Mercedes Benz hit the two cars from behind. The last two vehicles involved in the accident had Karnataka registration number. A truck also had a close shave with the last car, but its slow pace avoided more damage. The link is here.

This 2nd accident would NOT have happened had the gentleman on 2 wheeler had little more patience. A 4W might require 25 to 29 meters stopping distance from 80kph to 0kph, over 2+ seconds. Doing 100 or 120 kph, the stopping distance (and time) would be more. A car doing 120 kph, basically covers, 110 feet (33 meters) in a second. Do the math and you would find that crossing a Highway blindly is a sure shot recipe for Disaster. This road crossing by 2W is more frequent in the Vellore to Sriperumbudur stretch.

Safe for Car drivers to do is, to be on the look out for "Break in Median Sign", ESPECIALLY WHEN THE ROAD CURVES AHEAD and be ready to spot a "problem seeker" early. My "foot is generally OFF the throttle and over the brake pedal" while approaching such sections. I do the same when I spot people be the side of the road. Suddenly they might think that one man-power is higher than few horse-powers and cross the road.

Never i believe in this photo, not even in my imagination! Do I need to check my eyesight to not find even a single dent or chipped off paints from bumper in the I10??

Ciaz has definitely hit by a truck or a bus and maybe for insurance purpose this guy has taken the photo!
