I am seriously skeptical with the video happened there, might me some video-clip edit or something, he has hit the number plate which means there should've been damage either to the bumper of the Ciaz, or Bonnet or the Grill or the lower grill, just a number plate doing so much damage and the Grand i10 coming out like bruh nothing happened you see! is never possible.
Or is the crumple zones very hard in Ciaz to damage the body parts very easily?

Some days back a truck and a tempo struck in the mud in Virar (West). Nobody was injured. There was similar accidents in the past.

Tata cars have always been known for their reliability and built quality. Just a few days ago, we had shared a story about how a Tata Tigor sedan managed cross a road which was flooded with water. That video showed how reliable a Tata car can be. Today, yet another customer was thankful that he was in a Tata.
On the Ghodbunder Road in Thane, the Tiago driver tried to overtake a truck from the left. Sadly, the driver who had just learned to drive a car, ended up in being the result of a dangerous crash.
It happened so, the driver failed to overtake the truck completely before swerving right and entering the path of the truck. This resulted in the Tiago driver getting the rear of his car brushed with the truck’s front. By this time the Tiago had lost control due to impact, and crashed into the vehicle in front, which was moving at a slower pace.
With the truck behind, and no time to apply brakes, the truck crashed into the Tiago. The Tata Tiago was sandwiched between the truck and the vehicle in front. The Tiago’s front and rear has been damaged badly, but the passenger cabin is secure. The airbags too deployed, and the passengers of Tiago escaped the incident unharmed.

Tiago accident in AP. No credible information on casualties, speed etc. From the photos, it is XT variant with no airbags and cabin looks intact from what appears to be a high speed crash.

If it was a Maruti or even Hyundai, the guy would have been surely killed.

Seeing the pics of this Tiago and couple of other Tiago(s) that met with severe crashes, makes me feel good that Tata Motors with the new range of products have not cut corners as far as the body shell's strength is concerned. There have been pics on the net where the side rails have penetrated the car on impact but looking at this one it is a matter of relief that the damage did not reach the cabin as much. IF the occupants have managed to escape unhurt or with minor injuries from here, then, I am really happy with the way Tiago has held up after the crash.

Just surprised to read somewhere that 2 guys died in this accident even the cabin is intact. But can't blame the car for this as they were not even wearing seatbelts so definitely impact would be multiple times. And no ABS/airbags in this variant too. (Airbags won't have even worked since these guys weren't wearing seatbelts)

Bro, Tiago airbags deploy irrespective of seat belts. We came across a couple of such incidents from Atom club.
