Sir, Seeing the rear damage in Brezza, I feel it has held the crash well unlike other MSIL cars. If I am correct, Brezza has been crash tested by MSIL for a change. Looking at Innova too, the impact hasn't reached the cabin which is a good sign. Are there anymore pics of this Brezza?

No other pics Akash even I wanted to see more of them as am a Brezza lover[:)]

I agree with your view about Brezza built, I was very happy for only onething that no one got hurt as I became sick after reading many fatal accident news in Hyderabad took place in past few weeks

25th May- Karwar: Eight people including a bride died on the spot and 22 injured when a private bus VRL rammed a tempo traveler in the wee hours of Thursday morning at Annabeelu Cross in Manki police limits of Honnavar taluk in North Canara district of Karnataka. "The accident happened at 1 am on Thursday. We have shifted the injured persons to Manipal Hospital at Kundanpur,'' Bhatkal Deputy Superintendent of Police P.O. Shivakumar told on phone. Honnavar in coastal Karnataka is 486 kms from Bengaluru. "We have shifted the bodies to the government hospital at Manki for postmortem,'' Shivakumar said. According to the police, the tempo traveler with marriage party was going to Dharmasthala from Honnavara while the private bus was coming from Bhatkal to Honnavara when the accident took place. Divya's marriage was scheduled to be held on May 26 at Dharmasthala, a pilgrim centre in South Canara district. "The prima facie indicates that private bus rammed into the tempo traveler from rear side. Both the drivers were dead in the accident,'' the Deputy Superintendent of Police said. The police have registered a case under Sections of 279 (rash driving), 337 (endangering life), 338 (endangering personal safety) and 304(A) (causing death by negligence) of the Indian Penal Code. According to the police, there were 30 people in the tempo traveler when the accident taken place. Among the 22 injured people two are children aged six and nine years.

A truck trailer overturned in Vashi in Navi Mumbai somedays back. In this accident no body was injured. The traffic was affected for sometime.

Don't know if this was posted previously or not. But this video shows one of the biggest reason, for which the careless bikers do get crushed on the roads. Look at this man, he blatantly ignored the large truck, and then got what he deserved. Thankfully, no major injuries or loss of life.

That was one hell of a lesson to that biker. Just yesterday one similar biker was about to get hit but luckily he spotted me and stopped in the middle of the road. My dashcam was running without the memory card in it [frustration].

Last Sunday a dumper was travelling in a speed when suddenly the front tyre got burst and the driver lost control of his vehicle hit the divider infront of me in the morning. Luckily there was no vehicle on the otherside due to holiday. I have clicked some of it. The accident happened in the same spot which I uploaded a truck accident today in Virar (W).

On 16th June- When I was coming to Virar in Mumbai-Nashik National Highway, near Nashik there was an accident when a car turned turtle in the middle of the road. I dont know how many have been injured or casualties. People were helping to bring the car on the road. A crane was trying to turn in it rightly. The car was in very high speed it hit the parapet and turned turtle in the road. Must be some occupants was injured.

maybe there is some term like Jayriding [roll] which is appropriate for this but this might have also been a service road in which case its the truck drivers fault to drive so fast ? But biker might have sure broken something inside him after that! One guy also riding from opposite direction!

Yesterday night, I was driving my car and was about to take a u-turn, then a truck taking u-turn from outside almost ignored my car taking super speed u-turn while keeping his eye on racing and coming before a car coming from the opposite way forgetting my car. Seeing his speed, I braked hard and pumped my horn and he stopped just centimeters from my car. Thankfully Tiago dual horns are very powerful and it caught his attention, if it was a Maruti or Kwid horn, can't imagine what would have happened to the car.

Point is - horns are very powerful safety feature we never realize. Thankfully Tata has done a wonderful job in this regard. Also the high seating position of trucks and buses should be banned. This is a reason trucks/buses ignore cars, bikes. This is a reason it is banned in EU countries. Even in our Indian low floor buses like Volvo, seating position is very low and drivers can view cars/bikes/pedestrians much better.

High seating position of Truck/Bus can be a Pro or con depending on how the driver takes it. It could provide distance vision over and above traffic and especially useful when road are inclined or tapered. However this also gives them overconfidence which seems the issue here.
