That's very unfortunate.
I've seen some cars that has the plastic lock like thing(the one used by supermarkets to lock our belongings in a cover before entry, so that we cant sneak in any products- which can only be cut) to prevent hub caps to fall. Even if it gets dismounted, it wont fall. Of course, you need to use a new one every time you remove it. Hope you could understand what i tried to say.
I have seen that in many cars. Its really usefull..

Wheel caps used to fall off so often from Scorpios, that once upon a time, M&M stopped supplying wheel caps and instead shod the scorpio with pressed steel wheels!

Hey guys, saw a minor accident 1 or 2 hrs ago, at Indiranagar, on the road on which Heritage Grocery is located. The Indicabbie was turning into a by-lane with a huge radius, which is against the rules, and in the process got banged by a water tanker. Minor damage, only the rear bumper got twisted.

It was clearly the Indicabbie's fault, but the Tanker driver could definitely have braked in time. The Indicabbie made a call, and 5 minutes later, a traffic constable arrived and started questioning.

Many have same situation like this.

Most of the lorry drivers pushes us off the road and overtake. Not only lorry drivers, also flaged scorpios and fortuners. Sometimes Sumo and Tavera.
Some of the roads are not proper too. The height between the puddle and road is pretty huge which can lead to car bottom kiss the corners of the road. Sometimes its even worse, ends in an accident. [anger]
lOl Arun, these things are common while driving.
The best way is to recognise them well before, & blinking the head lights.
You mentioned Scorpio, But i give way to all.

Recently an ANHC which was being driven by a drunken maniac killed a couple of labors who were working because of Common wealth games in Delhi, during midnight. That area is quite close to my residence.
