One gets half on glass.
I am convinced till proved wrong.
I dont intend to contradict you but we intentionally broke our Indigos windshield when it met with a minor accident. It was full of scratches so we did so and the new windshield was installed for free(insurance company beared the expenses).

That was the right thing to do.
OT, why don't Insurance companies pay for scratched glasses, and save us the trouble of breaking the Windscreen?[:D]

Sad to see such an accident Blackbeauty. This is the reason we never travel in the nights more than 12! Happy to know all have recovered but sad that the car has still not!

Thats not the case dhaya, Driver should be confident while manouvering.
I like night driving esp.
During the night or day , i love to drive.
During my visit to Shirdi it was a 1100 kms on a single day, It took 21 hours, out of which i drove 18 hours.

Exactly.

One should be confident while handling the car.
For night drives, one should have slept well in morning and shouldn't get dozed off in between. [anger]
Also one must enjoy the night drive. In that case, you can drive as long as you want and for a long duration.

I don't think so AMG.

One doesn't not have to refill fuel for car. But for tummy, it is must. So, he must have stopped somewhere.

was it non-stop?

Last year i was driving about for 36 hours.

Travelled , met persons , and return back. Everything took about some 36 hours. Didnt sleep any where.

Strange thing was at last part i was so sleepy.

Sleepy means , a bus over took me and went some distance. but the yellow board was still fixed my view.

Stopped , washed my face and back to my fav seat. reached home after some 3 hrs after this incident

DONT ever drive like me , nor will i do in future.

Well Mukesh even i have driven for 17hours on the trot with breaks for fuel for the car and us only. Even i enjoy night driving and am confident about my driving!

But see Blackbeauty's case , what will you do if the other driver dozes off and rams into you? This is the reason we don prefer night travel , nothing about confidence and stuff.

My dad is also good driver with no major accidents in his history as a matter of fact not even any dents in any of our cars we owned before. Even we used to night travel before when my dad was young but now he is old and his vision has decreased , so he can drive at only around 60-70kmph in night. In the day time he drives well and the same distance will be covered in no time! So we have decided no night travel![frustration]

Yeah he too is a good driver! Guys i am not against night driving here , am here just to say its too risky not only accidents but also other anti-social elements!

Night driving on 4 lane roads is purely your control and skill as chances of accidents are minimum. But on two-lane roads with no dividers , night driving requires even greater confidence and control for perfecting each overtaking maneouvre! One wrong judgement or timing could see you end up in a crash. What will you do if a truck driver or any other vehicle driver dozes off and rams into you just like Blackbeauty's case? It is not your fault but we end up injuring ourselves and our car too! This is why i tell night driving is fun but risky. I am never against it!
