Happy birthday to Explorer-1

Today is her first birthday, completed one year of ownership today which was full of action. During the purchase period this car was not even in my list but couple of test drive changed everything. I am happy with my decision.
Congrats on her first b'day.Wishing you many more years of satisfaction and adventure with Polo. 26K is indeed a huge figure for a year. I dont think i cant even cross 6000 before i reach the 1 year mark.

I estimated 15k for my first year of running. I am sure i'll fall short of that mark.[roll]

ToughGuy any idea if the R320 head unit of the ICE which is coming in new Polo/Vento is available in the local market? I would love to swap my R210 with this new one.

Did you guys get any calls, if no do try to find if you can register for the checkup if you feel you should. I will post the details as soon as i get some.

just another way to charge you [:D] they will find something which will cost you and if you say let it be , then they'll say it can become a serious problem.

not just vw , hyundai and maruti have these special checkups.

i know that's free. it's just a way to lure potential customers in. anyways there's no problem in getting the car checked. i just go because they have discount on parts and labor as well. don't know about VW. in the end it depends on you if you have to get the problem , if any , fixed or not.

15K mark is also a good mileage for first year :)

I don't think R320 is available in open market, you can give your contact number to VW dealers in your area if any customer by chance upgrade their system you can get it at a good price.

Not received any call yet, last free check up was in monsoon last year. Do post the details after the free check up.

I don't think this is possible also outside temperature display is not available in my Polo CL TDI.

Keep driving till the DTE chime and figure appear in the display. This may possibly do the trick.
I did the same last week , Finaly end up with starting trouble and fuel indicators start blinking in red colour :(

Then I think only workshop guys will be able to do it by resetting the MID settings.

Re: Ownership Review: Polo 1.2 TDI Comfortline (Diesel)

I paid 1000 bucks for this emergency quota through which you can order for high security number plates directly from the center irrespective of RTO area on urgent basis, you can get your number plates within couple of days with no paper work and no payment receipt though they will keep a copy of RC that's it. If you want they will show your vehicle registration number in computer with status high security number plates are fixed.
Are thousand bucks inclusive of registration plates? I’d like to get HSRP fitted under this scheme. You got them from which RTO?

Drive Safe,
