Re: Ownership Review: Polo 1.2 TDI Comfortline (Diesel)

@Rightnow did you got stock music system or fitted them later on? Some times these outside door speakers make occasional noise like what they did in my i10 even though i got them fitted by dealer, check them?
I got them as stock. Yes, speakers are also one of the suspects for the noise.

The other day, I showed this noise thing to the workshop, the guy said its just a nuts and bolt thing besides the seat. I didn't have time drop the vehicle at workshop but I hope it is just a minor issue.

Re: Ownership Review: Polo 1.2 TDI Comfortline (Diesel)

Thanks point_city96 for your appreciation, surely ground clearance is low but if you compare this with other Indian hatchback's GC you find apart from Punto everyone is on same boat:

Punto 1.2 Fire petrol: 195MM

Punto 1.4 Fire Petrol and 1.3 Multijet diesel: 185MM

Fabia both petrol and diesel: 158MM

Figo both petrol and diesel: 168MM

Polo both petrol and diesel: 168MM

Ritz both petrol and diesel: 170MM

I-20 both petrol and diesel: 165MM

Swift both petrol and diesel:170MM
But if you put the mud guard on, then you won't even get 80mm of GC in polo. It scraps everywhere! [cry]

About 90 kmph- You wont even realize that you are at 90. I think 90 kmph is too low a speed to judge stability of polo at high speeds.
True. That is why I received Over Speeding fine 3 days back! [frustration]
Even though the speedometer showed 95km/h. It didn't feel like that!

Re: Ownership Review: Polo 1.2 TDI Comfortline (Diesel)

Handed over my car to VW-West service center (World class automobiles pvt ltd.) today for dent repair work i am taking insurance claim and needs to pay only INR 500 access fees. They will deliver the car in a week time at max, VW-West is already overloaded they will send my car for dent work to VW-East body shop.

Also got few VAS features activated in my car, got windscreen washer fluid filled, got oil level checked.

Waiting for my car now, will miss her for a week, now its turn of my wife's I10 to serve me for a week.

Which VAS features have you got activated?

..
Auto lock of doors at 20kmph
Auto lock of fuel lid at 5kmph
Auto unlocking of doors when i remove key from ignition

I also asked to activate sound alert when i lock and unlock the door but they told me that this feature can be activated in Highline variant only.

They activated above feature in 5 minutes by connecting my car to there computer containing VW car software.

I keep it 32. The workshop people also fill up to 32.
better maintain it less than 30 in cold.
if you fill 32 in morning by mid day heat it can go upto 36+

best suggestion is keep a tire pressure guage handy a digital one is better.

You mean 'better maintain less than 30 in summers'?

I think 30 is fine. Earlier I have noticed the pressure going up to 34 from 32 during start of summers.

If I notice the same again, I would stick to 30.
