Re: Ownership Review: Polo 1.2 TDI Comfortline (Diesel)

guys even after changing the seat frame the rattling noise doesn't seem to go away completely. From where it is coming I cant comment but comes from front left side. Should I ask them to open door pads, now it has started irritating me, u lose confidence on bad roads.
I have started to experience same problem again. I need to visit the workshop soon and ask them for a permanent solution. Till then, the rattling music would be a company.

As of now, the only solution that works for me is loud music[:)]

speakers are riveted at four places n not screwed. This is the reason , it tends to become loose after some time,

Re: Ownership Review: Polo 1.2 TDI Comfortline (Diesel)

how come your Polo looking different in above picture ? I mean, the bumper is looking smaller at the right side from the left. Is it because of the lens or something else ? And what is the DOT or SPOT above the right hand side rear view mirror (roughly an inch above or more) in the sky ?
This may be due to angle i was clicking, dot may be due to some dust on lens, posting few more pics for you hope i addressed your complaints properly [thumbsup]

Have a safe trip ToughGuy. I have read a lot about the highway manners and handling of the Polo. it will be really nice if you throw more light from your own experience. Your Polo is looking really nice in the pic. Waiting to read your travelogue too.
One more question, How is the stock ICE working? Do u feel the need of an upgrade?
Thanks GM88, superb highway manners, in love with this car exceptional ride and handling quality, overtaking was breeze for me past most of them.

Stock ICE is working superb, more than sufficient to play my type of songs.

Good News. Do post your travelogue with some pictures soon!
Yes will do the same.

guys I have completed 800 kms on my polo .. expect a detailed ownership review when i complete 1000 kms
For now teaser
Nice pics Poloman, finally you shared her pics with us, when we can expect a ownership review? Your's is a petrol i am 100% sure correct me? I found petrol owners complaining most [:)]

Go for 0 dep and if possible from the dealer itself, they seems costly but at the end you will get piece of mind choice is your's.

Re: Ownership Review: Polo 1.2 TDI Comfortline (Diesel)

I am back from my Amritsar trip yesterday evening, amazing experience with my Polo diesel on highway she is a gem no doubt, gave a wild chase to BMW 3 series from Ambala to Paitampura had lots of pics of that car running in front of me, will post them soon.

Trip updates: Started from Amritsar at 9:00Am reached Delhi at 6:30PM (at my In-laws place) and home by 8:42PM, total trip meter reading was 1053.6KM.

Spent around 1 hr to cross Ludhiana, not much traffic jam during return journey, INR paid 250 to Haryana traffic guy.

Got fuel average of 17kmpl with AC on, calculated from tankful to tankful method, drove insanely between 100-140 mark on clear stretches.

Here are few pics:

Nice to know that you had a great driving pleasure.

Any past experiences for the small dent in rear left door?

Notice the black arrow in the below pic below (hotel is on left side) you have to make this sharp turn to park your car in the basement of the hotel Hongkonginn Amritsar though large Xylo and Innova taxis was also parked here and they suggested me to enter in this basement with reverse gear i found ingress painful compare to outgress.

Notice black arrow pointing towards left, you have to make this sharp turn for basement parking, same is tricky but manageable

Will repair that scratch after my Jaipur trip next week, will start my log from day-1 by tomorrow.

You got your mileage decreased on Highway?! :lol!: just kidding
I also get around the same (17-18) with AC on speeds between 100 & 120.
So you touched 140? or more than that?

Re: Ownership Review: Polo 1.2 TDI Comfortline (Diesel)

Guys, I am seeing a lot of Polo's with the front logo missing. There are a lot of cars in mangalore according to my sister & her husband. Even in Skoda Fabia's. It's very easy to remove from these cars when compared to the other. Probably, just 30 seconds. I searched it on google & read that it is happening in mumbai, pune (main) etc. Beware of that, and anyone know how to remove that thing? Coz I am going to mangalore today [frustration]
