Re: Ownership Review: Polo 1.2 TDI Comfortline (Diesel)

@Vamsuduk - black polo [thumbswink]. It must be looking hot! It gives an excellent result when washed but you need to wash atleast once a week (twice recommended) to make the car gorgeous.
Now only I realised that black was hard to maintain coz black was my 1st car & didn't find out the difficulties unless now which is a white one & does not need any frequent wash.

@GM88 - I'll wait [:)]. Do start an ownership thread, so I can be sticked on to that too!

Re: Ownership Review: Polo 1.2 TDI Comfortline (Diesel)

From couple of days i was experiencing some in cabin noise from rear, today visited VW service center for the same issue, they checked and found the main culprit, rear seat was not locked properly thus creating noise problem solved and road test done had very good experience with Delhi-West VW service center.

Also got oil levels checked considering my upcoming trips of Amritsar and Jaipur in coming weeks.

All is well and Explorer-1 is ready to go waiting for coming Saturday :)

Re: Ownership Review: Polo 1.2 TDI Comfortline (Diesel)

I had to leave urgently to the client side, so couldn't visit forum for few days. Also couldn't post the pic as promised to tough guy
This is how rusted part under seat looks ( last pic)

The rusted frame is a common problem now as described by SA and he told me that he has ordered 20 frames more

1 pic : some plastic part came somewhere from terrace felt on my bonnet while it was parked in the workshop( Strong Winds)
2 pic : seat getting dry cleaned after change of frame

@tough guy : how can we add titles to the photos uploaded

Dry clean was not done neatly and I would try doing it myself with some ezee diluted with water
Seat frame changed by VW West today
Also activated some VAS features
Lane change Indicator ( from 3 cycles to 5 cycles)
Audible feedback when unlocking via remote
Automatic closing of doors at 15 kmhr
Automatic closing of petrol lid at 5 kmhr
Automatic unlocking on key removal

Planning some accessories this week

What a coincident i was also there on 21st between 11AM to12Noon, your seat frame looks quite rusted did you asked them for the real cause of this problem?

I also want to activate VAS features in my Polo, congrats your car is repaired and it's back to serve you.

They said that it is a common problem, the vendor supplied rusted frames for a particular slot [frustration]

That's really a bad news, so finally are you satisfy with the final work? How about sharing your experience at VW service center?

I know a car washing shop in NJF village they clean the seats in 100 bucks [:)]

When you move towards Nangloi from Najafgarh you will find car washing sjop on your right side after few KM from NJF. Those guys were using some chemical to clean the leather/faux leather seat covers visit your nearest car accessories shop you will surely get them their or you can try car cleaning 3M products.

[confused] how come your Polo looking different in above picture ? I mean, the bumper is looking smaller at the right side from the left. Is it because of the lens or something else ? And what is the DOT or SPOT above the right hand side rear view mirror (roughly an inch above or more) in the sky ?

Have a safe trip ToughGuy. I have read a lot about the highway manners and handling of the Polo. it will be really nice if you throw more light from your own experience. Your Polo is looking really nice in the pic. Waiting to read your travelogue too.
One more question, How is the stock ICE working? Do u feel the need of an upgrade?

Good News. Do post your travelogue with some pictures soon! [:)]

I guess he took it in a wide angle shot [confused]. Not sure though!
And regarding the spot, yeah, I too have the same question. It looks like a small dirt on the lens.

It works perfectly for me. It feels good with 4 speakers! And provides good effect too.

Re: Ownership Review: Polo 1.2 TDI Comfortline (Diesel)

guys even after changing the seat frame the rattling noise doesn't seem to go away completely. From where it is coming I cant comment but comes from front left side. Should I ask them to open door pads, now it has started irritating me, u lose confidence on bad roads.
