Yes, according to my dealership their is a QUALITY HOLD on the cars. As I speak I booked my car on 1st may(pre-booking) and I am waiting for the delivery.

I would like to know if indeed its a rumor or a fake news then why hasn't MSIL issued an official communication from their end denying it? Can that pic in other blog be a fake?

Why should they ? If it was true and they have already delivered vehicles to customers a recall would have been set, similar to the ones done on Baleno and S Cross.
On the other hand if they have all affected vehicles in their control, why should they publicize this?

Fair but why are dealers hiding the info if the issue is genuine? Why are they not confirming the issue to new buyers?
If and Buts don't resolve the issue. A clear picture needs to be projected as an ethical practice.

New Dzire steering wheel assembly news is not a rumour. All the cars are not affected though. I have personally seen 2 new Dzires getting stripped.

Friends, This post further validates that there is "no smoke without fire". Irrespective if 1 unit is affected or if 1000 units are affected, the issue is surely genuine!

Given Maruti's recent history with manufacturing defects, official recalls, nonofficial recalls and general lack of transparency, i would advice prospective buyers to hold off receiving their cars till atleast 6~8 months.

The issue is genuine for sure. As I have personally seen it. But, only a certain batch is affected. Now the deliveries are going on in full swing.
