I tried but as this car is in demand they are not leaving basic kit also.

Push them for it. I guess basic kit is for 3.5 or 4K. If they still don't budge then don't buy it from them. In the name of demand they are simply looting the customer.

I was thinking of getting fog lamps and parking sensor+camera+display from the dealer, don't the aftermarket options just damage the electric wiring or void the warranty?

Fog Lamps surely you may buy from dealer but the Reverse cam and all can be bought from a good aftermarket shop. While fixing the unit you may supervise the work and tell the technician to avoid any slicing of wires and instead do proper wiring using pins and connectors etc.

Chrome add-ons are rather personal preference, my father really likes them.

Yes mate, going aftermarket for the basic kit and other stuff.

I think you are right about the parking stuff, BTW I was thinking that where should I buy it and a good one which also cost's less?

A quick update
Today was the plan for the PDI.
Now when I had a talk with GM of the showroom, she is saying that the car is in transit and I can't do a PDI of the car.

And now she is saying that I need to do the full payment or the car will be offered to the next person.

This car is really making me annoyed as heck.

I think I am being framed here.

A quick update
Today was the plan for the PDI.
Now when I had a talk with GM of the showroom, she is saying that the car is in transit and I can't do a PDI of the car.

And now she is saying that I need to do the full payment or the car will be offered to the next person.

This car is really making me annoyed as heck.

Tell her how can you pay without even seeing car, Be firm in your voice. They are panicking because of 30th june, if you reject the car they will have little window to sell the car to other customer. Tell them you will pay the full amount when you ok the car

Tried to convince her but she is saying that the car was alloted to you on 24th and within 5 days I have to do the payment, is it a rule or something when I have not even checked the car?

that is a joke when the car has not even reached stockyard. The dealer has power to offer the car to next person in queue only when the first one has refused or making delay in taking delivery. When the car itself is not available for delivery, how they expect you to take delivery.
Tell her do whatever she want and you will escalate this with maruti. They are just playing game with you

I know, I had a talk with the chairman also but he is trying to say the same thing.

I can take it to maruti now but I know it will not result in anything, even if I drop an official mail then also I will be getting an automated reply.

I can't believe that the cars has not reached stockyard within NCR in 4 days. Tell them you are not ready with this kind of arrangement and will only pay when you verify car in person and pay within hours the full amount and they can invoice it same day.

That's why I prefer PDI and delivery on same day at dealer showroom instead of stockyard, nothing is going to change much from stockyard to showroom. I can reject the car at showroom as well

Car has still not come at the stockyard it's in transit. It will be there tomorrow evening (not convinced for that too) and they are saying only dealer PDI will be done and I can't even check it before delivery and before the full payment. Not seen that too anywhere.

Also PDI and delivery can't be done on the same day as the registration process would be pending and without it the car is useless.

Since you are not doing PDI today, you can get the dd same day when you have fixed PDI

I think they are already trying to find another customer as I have clearly told them I am not going to give a single penny before the PDI.

They are saying that dd clearance also takes time (upto 2 days) so I need to do the payment Tomorrow immediately.

I don't think that they will be getting the car Tomorrow also.

I am definately sure that there is a big issue in the car as they were saying only dealer PDI will happen. When I tried to push her, she constantly asked me that who is going to do the PDI? to which I told her that someone is going to do it she doesn't need to worry about that.

They will constantly try to delay the PDI.

Even if I pay them the down-payment amount they will try to milk all the money from me.

You will get a reply from maruti (maybe automated) but rest assured your grievance will be solved.
Send an email to main email id and cc the mail id of the dealership.
I sent an email to Hyundai for some service related issue , next day the advisor came to my home. Well because hyundai instructed the sc to do so.

Even posted a post on Twitter tagging maruti and their customer care.

But I don't think that it is being escalated any further.
