I visited my uncle's dealership and spoke to the DGM there. He informed that based on the news he has ordered to check the entire batch of allotted cars of the dealership. To divert the topic, he said, we have stopped the delivery because of GST. Apart from that, he said, "Small issues keep happening" and further added that in 2014 also, there was some problem with the steering of the Swift which was rectified. He said, recalls are made to rectify the fault because at times from the vendor's end there is a mistake. I then cross checked with on-floor guys there and all of them kept telling "they are waiting for circular"

From today's interaction, it is clear that there is actually something wrong in Dzire and the news isn't fake. The dealers and ASC(s) have been told maybe not to give out details.

Yes, but my dealer gave me a different reason that due to quality hold they haven't received a car. This means that they are definitely trying to give excuses and don't want us to know the real matter.
Also when you had a conversation​ with the on-floor people, did they all said the same.thing or there group answer was that they are waiting for a official circular?

I had the conversation with 3 guys, one said they are waiting for Circular, Others said to confirm it with DGM. When I told that the buyers are being told that there is a quality hold on the cars so delivery is delayed he replied, "Sir, from my end I am making sure that in our dealership there shouldn't be any such model" but I cant confirm you officially on this."

I had to cancel the earlier booking due to dad and now will be doing a fresh booking in August once the GST thing settles down. However, the decision is clear, Tigor is going to make way in my parking 1000%.

As i was about to book dzire in upcoming week, this comes as a shocking news to me. My dealer said firstly said that they can give vxi in 7 days and yesterday told me that he can deliver any color of vxi on same day. There is definitely something wrong here. I will hold plans till GST rolls out. Either i will book hyundai xcent sx or dzire in next month. Any suggestions for how much time i should avoid booking dzire.

He is trying to sell you VXI as it might have been at their stockyard and would have been cancelled due to some reason. There is a high chance that you can get that defective car which you should totally avoid.
As of booking you should wait till GST rolls out and should book a car in July end or August.

He is trying to sell you VXI as it might have been at their stockyard and would have been cancelled due to some reason. There is a high chance that you can get that defective car which you should totally avoid.
As of booking you should wait till GST rolls out and should book a car in July end or August.

Very much true about booking cancelation. But the catch is all colors are available. And yes I will wait for July end

He is just bluffing, at the time of delivery or before it he will try to give several excuses for changing the color.
You should don't risk it.

Today I once again tried to call the AGM and told her that I know the issue (not telling her really). When I really tried to pressurize her the truth came out, she genuinely told me that their is a issue with the steering assembly and there may be a recall for the already sold cars.
I told her that I called to another TR Sawhney showroom(i didn't) and they told me that there is no such issue.
So guys of your plan is book a DZire right now then pls don't. No one is going to tell you the truth until and unless you try doing something smart.

I tried push her more but she really didn't know anything else.
She also told me that she got to know about the issue yesterday only when she herself went to the Manesar plant. Before that anyone in the dealership didn't know about it.
Infact she has only discussed about this with only the sales manager so now only they both know about it(she can be lying on this one but I don't think so)

ok, so as I speak cars are being manufactured and being dispatched from plant. there is no hold of any kind. People are taking delivery of their cars
