Stunning revelation from my side :

I did not know Maruti dezire has 6 gears including a reverse gear. I thought it has 4 gears+ reverse gear. My brother pointed out to me today
Now i understand why there was noise when i was driving car on expresssway on 4th gear
How dumb of me

This really made me laugh Vaibhav. Anyway check the car manual once for other details if you are missing any.

I have seen most of the cases in India that while delivery of a new car the showroom guy least bothered to explain that how it works and its precautions.

Also no body really spend time to read the manuals of any product, either it is car or TV and mobile too !!

Issues :

a) The fuel lid is very small and the petrol pump pipe doesnt go in it. As a result i cant have automatic full tank method deployed. We have to keep waiting and ensuring when the tank is about to get full

b) Now when i drive my maruti 800 its look i am doing labour work with its manual steering and absence of power steering. Rotating it is such a pain now . AC and space also feel like a problem now

Update on Autocop power windows :

Guys all of you know about problems with autocop power windows in my car. Now as promised Autocop people came today and have changed some parts which were having defect as per dezire design.
They have assured that they have done lot of testing on it. Lets see how it goes now

3 ace dear- Performance is awesome. The power steering and handling of the car on curves is very very good.
I have run 1300 km and average mileage is 15.4 km/ltr

I just confirmed from competent motors

total cost of first service after 10,000 kms would be 3500

he informed

oil cost is approx 1400
oil filter is 400
wheel alig/bal 1200

if I go for synthetic oil then it is 900 rs litre
oil cost then comes to around 2700 /-

Problem :

Guys help me. My car avg needle is stuck at 15.1 km today and dint change even though i travelled 100 km. Whats the problem
