Thanks bReeze for reminding me.[:)]

I am not sure whether the mudflaps is standard or not, but the sales person is offering as accessories.[confused]
I got it along with the car, mine was S(O) MT, which is no longer available.

So check the brochure or manual which they would have given you.

Meanwhile, opt for boot / cargo protector accessory as well.

As I am taking Zero Dep insurance, Do I still need to go for two years extended warranty? (2+2). If I don't take two years extended warranty, showroom is ready to reduce 5600.

I think RSA is also not much important accessories for me. For this also, showroom is ready to reduce around 4500.

Extended warranty would give you piece of mind for 4 long years. So do not compromise on it. But as you are paying for it, i believe you could buy this later on as well, but check the cost and compare.

Regarding RSA, its totally your call. On the downside, you never know when it would come handy. These stuffs do not cost a bomb, as the Honda ccessories do. So, i would still go for it. But i remember that extended warranty & RSA came in a pack. How much is the break-up you got for RSA & extended warranty?

Brio SMT Accessory confusion

Hi,

Came across this forum via Google search and found threads flooded with tons of great suggestions and conversations.

I've a query too and hope to get some thoughts. I'm about to buy brio in a day or two.. SMT Metallic in Delhi.

I'am getting it got 4,78,000 (insurance free + cash discount) but no accessories. Is it a good deal or should I expect more? If I try to bargain over accessories, could you please suggest which are must have accessory I should try for and other good-to-have accessories?

Welcome to TAI. Enjoy your stay here.[:)]
Have you paid the booking amount ? Try getting the accessories as a part of your bargain. How much is the Cash discount ? Try getting protectors or seat covers or something of that sort.
If you have paid the booking amount, I am afraid, your bargain will be a nightmare.

Hi Deepak. I have just got my Brio SMT Metallic for Rs. 4.78 lakh plus seat covers (fabric) and floor mats. Very simple and straight deal I got.

For Brio owners, I have a query. Are the ORVMs fully foldable? Mine are power operated. Should I fold them manually?

After hard negotiation of two weeks in three different dealers, Booked Brio SMT (Non-Metalic) on 5.415 lakh today, delivery is expected to happen in next few days. Includes (teflon, Anti Rust coating, 4 rubber mat, body cover, PU Seat Cover, 8 pc door, front and back bumper protector with body color, zero Dep Insurance, 4 yrs Warranty). But no RSA.
Thanks to the TAX & LBT in Navi Mumbai, On road price became much higher than the Delhi.

Welcome aboard Deepak. Hope you have a wonderful stay here.

The deal seems to be less to me. Bargain more for accessories before giving any booking amt. Also, if its 2013 mfg model, you ought to get a way better deal. See the deal our fellow member hardstone bagged from the only dealer in Navi Mumbai.

Congrats on your purchase. Its a good deal. [clap]

So, remind them of the Zero dep insurance constantly, else they will muck it up.

And as mentioned earlier, the anti-rust treatment, make sure you check the under carriage completely before taking delivery. Do not go for the wheel arch theory which they would go for.

Ask the SA to give your VIN number and decode the mfg date.

It could be manually folded completely, no problem whatsoever. Even mine are electronically controlled.

.
They confirmed me on writing that anti rust coating will be whole under body but Not just wheel arch.
By the way, I finally went with Apex honda at Sion. Hallmark after final negotiation said that they finished their stock.

Oh, good that you went with Apex. Meanwhile, writing or no writing, doesnt matter, just make sure you check all your freebies before taking the delivery of your ride. Once your out of Delivery Bay, they will take you for a ride.

Nothing to spoil your happiness, just a precaution, so that every things safe. [clap]

You went for UT?

Did you happen to see any Special Edition Brio in their showroom with black interiors?

UT was not available, so selected TW.

Special Edition BRIO was available in Hallmark showroom, but I didn't like the concept of black interiors. APEX didn't have it, they told me that they already cleared the stock.

TW, awesome bro. Even mine is TW. You can check my thread for more details. White makes Brio look a bigger car. [:D]

Any pics taken for the black theme? I havent seen any member in here who chose the special edition model. [roll]
