New Honda Brio SMT - Ownership Review

Does anybody have PDI checklist customized for Brio SMT. I am expecting my Brio SMT to be delivered by next week. As this will be my first car, I don't have any experience of pre delivery inspection. I found couple of general PDI checklist from google, but it could be better if there is any customized PDI checklist for BRIO, most preferably for SMT.

Congratulations for your new Ride, getting PDI list customized for SMT won't be possible I guess. What you can do is to get the exhaustive list from the below address and take your Brio features list and exclude things which are not present.

Could you please assist me here about the price etc ? Also does it require entire bracket replacement ?

Hi, i got it fixed while taking delivery. It was around 12k including fitting. I remember going through a thread of one of our fellow member who sourced online for reasonable rate and fixed it himself. I'll update you if i get the thread.

I feel side protectors are very essential.
Just after buying it, in 4th day one scooter hit my vehicle on side.
The scratch is not so bad, but its visible and looks bad .

About beat, even i cancelled beat deisel due to congested feeling.

During last 2 months of driving in pick traffic conditions in bangalore, it gathered some minor scratches in the rear bumper . I donot want to go to dealership as it will cost a bomb. Can you guys help me to find a reliable third party vendor for minor painting touch ups ?

Could you upload pics, so that we could see what the damage is? Accordingly, we could suggest you the best solution.

And what insurance do you have? Is it Zero dep?

Hi Breeze....surely I will upload some pics asap. For insurance, it is just comprehensive one not the zero dep. Does zero dep policy covers paint depreciation as well ?

yea it does, since its a nw car i suggest u leave it as is, else u can always get the paint touched up at magnum honda or wherever

Hi Everyone, I am Anupam from Pune .

I own honda brio smt. Yesterday , one of my friends younger brother pressed the parcel tray so that the fiber where the clip is attached for supporting parcel tray came out. It tried back to fit it back to its position but I feel some internal clip got damaged .Do I have to replace the entire fiber unit .Also , not sure if its available . What should I do,please suggest .

Brio is a beautiful car and from what I have heard about this car.. its pakka VFM.

Even I am planning to buy Brio SMT in May ending or June starting (I am starting driving lessons this Monday and will book the car when I feel confident to drive).

My question for you experienced car owners is that if its a good choice to buy Brio for a person who is about to start to learn how to drive.

If that is ok, do you suggest any other car based upon current market prices and offers which will match Brio in driving pleasure and comfort too.

Go ahead for the i-vtec, it is the best in that segment you are looking for. Brio is very easy to drive and comfortable, where ever you go.

Go for paint brush touch up as scratches are not huge.else you need to repaint whole bumper so I recommends you to go for paint brush touch up at ASS only as they will match up color perfectly.
