Totally correct. Looks like I got duped. [frustration]

I didn't even get them coloured and one LHS front protector has fallen off somewhere a while back.[roll]

Welcome to TAI, Vinpat. First of all your post was a real pain to read and understand as it had not full-stops leave alone any punctuation. Now, regarding your query, I guess you are getting a decent offer, you can push the dealer for some free accessories too. Also, get a serious quote (with all that bargaining as if you are going to buy from him only) from another dealer too and then see who is offering more. If the discount offering difference between the 2 dealers is a LOT than something might be fishy with the dealer offering more discounts, be alert!

H! is known for its build quality and trouble free cars. spending so much is a waste. First 2 years are anyways covered within your purchase. You can purchase extended warranty anytime later also or even year wise.

Is the extended warranty for 2 years? If yes, then I guess no harm in going for it.

I remember paying four thousand something, for the extended warranty for two years. And I vaguely remember discussing this with a few other owners of BRIO on TAI, who had been quoted the same.

Why is your dealer asking so much?

extended warranty price in Goa for two years is 5650 , i think he is trying to rip you off , contact Honda customer care for the right price .

I think Honda should put prices or mrp of all accessories online , to stop this kind of duping , All Dealers know that Customers will always go for Basic accessories like Protectors from showroom since they are not available easily in after market [anger]

Welcome to TAI akhandua.

And if the question was for me, I got it from the showroom itself. They charged me exorbitantly for the paint job though.

Suggestion: Go for black itself, as the side protectors are meant for taking hit, and colour will chip off where ever it hits.

Coldfire2005 I was also facing the similar problem when I bought my brio , but my call was better to stick stick with Oem tyres as most of the time I will be conifined with city streets on my brio and it was my fourth car which will mostly be used for my grocery shopping and will be called for its service to cater me to the places with tighter parking spots,so what I considered was to better stick with Oem tyres eventhough there performance aren't great but yes they are not bad either for limited spirited driving which I do daily for a limited span of 400-450 mtrs with my each car every day soo save your bucks if u'll be confined within the boundaries of your city most of the time . Or else opt for Michelin xm2's or Bridgestone potenza g3 if u want to treat your brio like a go kart most of the times, these rubbers are best in the business. I got Goodyear's DP 2 (from honda)which I feel were simply precise for my usage. You'll might get Goodyear's rubber as both of them are oe suppliers to Honda for brio's tyre.
