Hi Sudeep
Do we need to give the Brio for second service exactly after six months from date of purchase, or else can we delay.
If we can delay then how many days.
I have opted for 3 & 4th yr extended warranty.
The delay in service, will it have any impact on extended warranty?
My Brio done less than 1000 kms, is it oil change required during second service?
Second service and less than 1k Kms?
Are you not driving at all ? [surprise]

Any ways, a couple of days delay wont matter, but you have to stick to the timelines for Honda to honour the extended warranty.

Generally speaking, it should not be required.
Because at first service i.e 1 month or 1K Kms, they don't change the oil.

Having said that, please get it checked in the service center, if required they will top up the oil.

Hi Sudeep

Since you have already owned the car for almost a year, can you update your FE in detail (do you maintain any FE log). This would be really helpful to me.

Tidbit: Just got the RHS Tail Lamp cluster of my Father's Brio replaced. Price: Rs. 800.

Cheap for a Honda, isnt it?
Man, that too cheap buddy. I really didnt know that Brio parts were that cheap. Even my Alto's tail lamps costs close to 800 bucks. Good going Honda[clap].

Hi Venky,

Sorry to say, but I haven't maintained any fuel logs. FE totally depends on your driving style, having said that I can tell you that on an average I have got 13.5 kmpl.
The main reason is I drive every day through bumper to bumper traffic in peak hours, i.e around 9 in the morning and 6 in the evening to and fro office, and almost always with AC on irrespective of the climate.

Very true.. fuel economy depends on driving style and off course the traffic. I have taken my brio on early morning driving practice and i got close to 18-19 kmpl as per fuel indicator and other owners have also confirmed the accuracy as +0.6 to 1 kmpl. In traffic definitely it will reduce a lot, still i have to check that.

UPDATE --- Insurance

Just a small update for our fellow Brio owners.
My car is almost a year old now, and yesterday I got my car insurance renewed. I had a zero dep Honda Assure, Bajaj Allianz insurance. In the first year I had paid 16.3k.
Yesterday I renewed it by paying 14967.00. This is again a zero dep insurance.
No, NCB as I have claimed it twice last year [;)] once for front bumper & RHS mirror assembly replacement & for some painting in back bumper.
No regrets as I utilized the insurance more than my premium amount & because of which after one year, my car stands scratch less. [:D]
Note : All of you who have a Honda assure insurance have to renew it through the Honda dealer only. I first tried doing it online, but I was asked to call the branch office, who in turn asked me to contact the dealership saying that they cant do it and has to be done by Honda.
Honda dealership made it hassle free, I called them in the morning and by evening, they sent me the original policy to my office and collected the cash from me.

4 Lacs.
I pushed for max IDV. first year was 4.18 Lacs.
They will generally quote with 20% depreciation in the first year, however on request, they can increase the IDV.
