The name of the shop from where i got all the accessories (Floor Mats, Seat covers, Reverse Sensor, Sun Films, Side protectors, Anti-Rust Coat, Teflon Coat) is CAR COOL. The shop is exactly opp. Milan Mall (or Inox theatre) at Milan sub-way (Near SV Road junction).

I'll PM u his number. You always have the choice to negotiate from various vendors. Just that this guy can be trusted .. or I wouldn't have taken the risk of letting any Tom, Dick or Harry handle my car

10k cash discount
Gear lock free
Door Mats free
Anti Rust Protection free
One teflon coating free
Insurance free

teflon coating is a waste, so better try and get something else in its place. U can visit my thread to see what accessories i purchased from them.

I told my dealer to give me the same deal saying that I am getting this deal from somewhere else. He agreed with the cash discount but didnt agree on the accessories. He said that anti rust coating and teflon coating are done by Honda itself by default. Is it true? I dont believe that. Also he said that he will give some discount coupons on honda accessories instead of the gear lock and door mats. I think he is trying to fool me over here. Can you suggest.

dont run after them, they will come after you since "customer is the king".

the more u make them feel that you are doing a favor by buying their car the more they will floor you with discounts. Also take quotations from other dealers in your city and use that to your advantage.

Further, honda is still trying to dispose off April made cars so we can easily assume they have stocks in abundance. The more the month end approaches. the more discounts they will offer. Just dont call them and wait for their call and do the killing.

They gave me quite a good deal.
10500 rs discount plus the following freebies
1)Teflon coating
2)Rubber matting
3)Underbody Anti rust coating
4)Original car cover

I was quite happy with the deal they were offering so booked it.
I am quite confused with the colour and have asked for a couple of days to decide.
I need your suggestions. I am confused between red and white. Will red look a bit girly?? Mom is voting for red and me for white.

wrt colors i purchased red coz i always found white too dull. also the 1st car my dad owned was a white 800 and i always hated the color. i would suggest you buy the color what u like rather than asking because tastes are subjective. what u may like , others may not like and vice versa.

I have booked the Urban Titanium ... because of the fact that ... The Brio is sthing different from available hatches in India ... and therefore colour must be sthing which lil different .. i found it really appealing and also looks good on the Road. However, color choice is totally ur personal tastes ... and therefore go for the color, which u think is good.

I'm Planning for 3M teflon and anti rust coating. I found Teflon coat given by dealer is useless.

Can somebody from hyderabad suggest me trustworthy 3M dealer?

my cars bonnet is left with the yellowish mark on it, which is because, i forgot to clean it after puja. Is there any way i can rub this off?

Frankly, I do not see any benefit of Teflon coating. Its more of a marketing gimmick than anything of worthwhile value. Underbody anti rust coating does help in case the car scrapes its underbelly on the road plus it also helps in deadening the road noise.

The yellow mark will fade soon on its own. Do not try any thinner or paint remover.

Regarding reverse parking horn, when i inquired about this at local shop thay it is around 150/-, but Honda Guys Quoted as 400/-, and they also said, since this is something which involves tampering cars wiring, they said it is to better done at their place. What you say?

If you plan to install after market security systems like autocop etc , then no point getting reverse horn installed since the latest model of autocop has reverse horn with it.

@anilkumargurla: Honda are very fussy about their warranty and I would not suggest you voiding the waranty for saving a couple of hundred rupees.

Since i have taken VMT, it had central locking system within. When i have asked the local shop guy here, he said, it is not possible to do it? not sure how true it is? Do you think i have to install security system again (AutoCop)
