Guys,
i am also facing the same problem what Rahul faced, I have booked white BRIO, but family is against white, thy are saying blue is good. But, I am telling them that white is easier to maintain than other colors.
Please help me.
Hi Guys, Can any one help in this regard, as i have to finalize the color. People around are saying that White is tough to maintain. Thanks
no color is tough to mantain else car makers wont be offering different colors to choose from.

gone are the days when maruti used to charge different prices for white and metallic and white was preferred being cheaper. That was the main reason we saw more white cars on the roads in the 1990's. The only thing which goes against white is that they get dirty faster than any other color except black.

buy any color which has acceptance in your family.

HI All,

has anyone installed reverse parking sensors for Honda Brio ?
I just felt the need for one and honda has priced the sensors at 5k (not camera one).
Is it worth that price? In e-bay I can see lots of sensors at cheaper price. Is it ok to purchase through them and get fitted at some local shop ?

just ensure no wiring is cut as it will void the electrical warranty.

I am not in favor of purchasing such stuff from ebay. better go to a car accessories shop ( shd be many around) and chose one after seeing a demo and get it installed from them only. Generally they have more variety and you can haggle as well.

I booked brio, and when I asked for the reverse parking sensors (Sensors with only sound), Sales person said it costs 3.5K, and one with LCD which shows colors is 4.5K.

Also I would say go to some local shops to get the prices

these must be local market prices.

I had inquired in karol bagh, delhi when i went to get arm rest installed a month back for my brio. They quoted me 1.5k for the sound sensors and about 3k for camera ones with LCD. I found both these to be a waste since the big rear glass combined with the ORVM's do the job perfectly for me.

Thanks Guys, even I thought no need for parking sensors initially, but i park in a very tight spot (not in apartment), and off late I thought the need for one, i think these honda dealers just over price most of the accessories, but we still prefer from them just to avoid warranty. As pointed out by Nitin instead of ebay , i would preferably go to some good autoshops and check out

Hello everyone. I just received the delivery of my E.Blue Honda Brio VMT on the 6th of September.

Car: Honda Brio VMT, Color: Electric Blue
On Road Price: 5,54,545
Car Dealership: Solitaire Honda Andheri
Car Registration: Navi Mumbai
Discounts: 1) 35k Cash 2) Free Insurance
Freebies Offered:
1) Teflon (They just apply a single coat and dont give any invoice regarding the same. According to me it is pretty useless. The other day I was at 3M looking at sunfilms. I found a single use car wax sachet. It was for Rs.50. The salesman told me that this is what the car dealers do when they offer this. Try bargaining for a warranty card and invoice for the same, I didnt get any)
2) Floor Mats (Boot not included) I got third party floor mats. Try bargaining for original Honda Rubber mats. The offer the best of both worlds (not slippery like plastic and water proof and easy to clean unlike the carpet mats)
3) Body Cover (Again third party)
4) Side Mirror Locks.

Add ons pruchased:
1) Zero Dep Insurance: Rs.3400 over the normal insurance cost.
2) Extended warranty (2+2 years): Rs. 4900

Hi rahul, This is the latest update from my side, i have yet to receive the proforma from dealer, likely to get it today, Booked a White Brio, and they they promised the delivery on this weekend. But, we are planning to take the delivery on 20th, as there were no auspicious days in between.
Delivery date is changed, now am getting my BRIO on 17th. Also, not planning to buy any accessories from Honda guys, as i feel they are little bit costly. Read reviews about Indian Decors @ banjara Hills, and likely i'll go there.

Rahul: When are you getting your car?

Congrats Ragin_Ice on your new vehicle,

You have got a superb deal in terms of Pricing.
I think this is the third Blue Brio in TAI, and I would love to see some pics of your car. Please do upload.

Just one question, What are Side Mirror Locks?

Hey Sudeep, thanks so much. Your posts have been very useful. Also Nitin, thanks for posting the discounts. Most dealers on the first instance refuse to offer what Honda is officially offering! Only when probed do they give in.

Mirror locks is like an outer lining on ORVMs, preventing thieves to remove the glass. Since it was offered free of cost I took it, otherwise I dont have much use of it as my car is always parked inside my society premises or in my office premises.

I will post pictures to give you a better understanding.

Also, needed advise from all Brio owners. My headlights have been fogging. The dealership says it is normal because the new age headlights have breathing outlets that lets the moisture in. Sounds skeptical as I havent ever experienced it in my other cars (2 Honda Citys and a couple of Esteems) I have asked them to have a look at it at my first service and replace it. I will update.

Yeah man, would love to see some pics of this thing, I don't have the privilege of parking indoors. [frustration]

Never did anything like this happen in my headlamps, better get it checked.

I wish you many happy miles ahead.

@rahulkrishna: Seen a couple of black Brios and did not find them exciting. Blu/Red/Silve/White are THE colours to go for.

Rs. 5.55 lakh for a VMT? GRAB IT!

I am interested in Brio SMT but my local dealer is offering me only Free Insurance and no Cash Discount. While EMT is available with Free insurance + Cash Discount of 5000. Is this true at all dealers. As Ragin_Ice mentioned there is 35k discount on VMT but it costs over 6.50 lakhs. So confused whether to buy or not.
