Red is the most difficult color to maintain. Black comes at 2nd. Silver \ beige \ champhene are the easiest to maintain and scratches are less visible.
I got car polished some time back and the original color came back.

Hi guys, booked Ford Aspire from Elite Ford, Bangalore. Now confusion between Ruby Red and Ingot Silver. Delivery is scheduled for next month second week, please suggest which colour to go for.
I have always felt Aspire looks better in Red.
But Figo looks better in Silver and Grey in my opinion [;)]
Mine is a silver Figo and the paint is holding well after 1 year.
Attaching a pic taken recently to add to your confusion [:)]

Re: New Ford Figo Trend (Diesel) | 3rd Service Update | 20,000 Kms: Ownership Review

Hi all. I test drove the Aspire diesel and Baleno petrol yesterday.

Aspire Diesel:
The exterior looks were pleasing. Interior were a bit disappointing in the sense that they did not felt premium as in Elite I20 or Baleno [especially the console].

The door closing gave metallic sound like that in Logan. There was no sheet metal flexing and overall the car felt solid IMO.

The best part was the engine of course. The engine sound was very less inside the cabin and I was confused whether this is a diesel engine or petrol engine. The gear shifting was smooth and I did not felt any notchiness as reported by some. Even the clutch was reasonable light. I was instantly at ease with driving the Asprie.

The showroom guys were very pushy and were pressuring me to immediately book the vehicle. They mentioned that the price of Aspire is going to increase by 2-3%. They gave me a quote of 8.00 lakhs for Titanium diesel and 3.25 lakhs for my Sep 15 Wagon R Vxi. I think they will negotiate further as told them I am in no hurry and not desperate to buy a new vehicle and will buy only if a get a good deal on my Wagon R.

Baleno Zeta MT Petrol:
In Baleno also there was no body flexing as shown in YouTube. The interior felt good. I thought the Boot space was more use-able in Baleno than Aspire. NEXA experience was good. They quoted 7.5 for Zeta MT Petrol which is very value for money IMO.

What are your opinion guys. Am I getting a good deal.

Both are entirely different cars, the Baleno is wider and is more feature rich and the petrol is economical and easy top maintain, the Aspire is a tad more sporty to drive, will perform much better when car has more than 2 passengers on board, is as safe or safer than Baleno, is more VALUE oriented car,
Ford will launch the new Figo and Aspire with a new facelift by 2018 October with a new 1.2l i3 Dragon petrol motor making 94 HP and 116 NM torque and new SYNC 3 infotainment and more features like dual barrel head lamps, rear view camera, push button start etc, as of now the Aspire is a little bit ageing machine as the heat among compact sedans have died off and market is more interested in premium hatch backs like baleno , Jazz , i20 elite etc and of course the ever popular compact SUVs

Totally agree with you 1989rs500. Aspire definitely feels safer and is powerful than Baleno.
Is 8 lakhs good quote for Aspire Titanium Diesel. I think that the dealer may negotiate further as they were pressurising me to book the car at the spot which I politely declined.

Ask for freebies and more discounts. I think another 20-30 k can easily be knocked off. Or how about free extended warranty thrown in. Just remind him that the Baleno Delta Diesel sits at similar price point and similarly kitted. But if it is Diesel it has to be Figo. If its a petrol Baleno engine is better and nicer to drive.

VALUE wise both are excellent and the fact that one is getting as rocket ship diesel at the price of a petrol Maruti makes it damn appealing , and as we all know mileage wise however good a petrol maybe it can never match a diesel , the icing is that Ford dosent disappoint in performance despite being a diesel,

So if thats a priority ie like make 10k+ kms of running every year a diesel Aspire will make more sense, if running is low like say 7000-8000 kms a year, petrol Baleno will make more sense

Bought the Aspire titanium TDCI on 28th July!! the car is manufactured on 28th June - Mfd to delivery - 30 days flat!!
Total cost including the rear view camera with the display onto the IRVM along with the Rear parking sensors cost me 8 lakhs 80 thousand.
The showroom experience at Cauvery ford - magadi road, Bangalore was very good too!!
Waiting for a longish ride to see how the car behaves, till now, i've been driving in the pathetic Bangalore to Whitefield traffic and the MID shows 12 KMPL with auto AC 100%

Congrats SunnyAspire! Wish you happy miles ahead.

On a side note - I noticed that the new Figo/Aspires come with blackened triangular metal plate on the front fender. Earlier ones used to come with chrome ones.
I am talking about the cap like thingy where the lower variants get the side indicators.

Congrats sunnyaspire. Wishing you a delightful and stress free ownership experience. Your Aspire is looking stunning in this shade. How much were you able to reduce the cost after negotiations with dealer. Were any freebies etc. offered by the dealer.
