Thanks karma and congrats on the booking. It definitely is a very underrated car. You can check the service costs and more updates in reply number 1.

@ soulo - do update if they are able to diagnose the problem. It has been more than 2 months since i last drove the car :/

Got the car to drive today [:D] really love to drive this car.
Also decided to get the car cleaned.
Called up 3M to get a quote for UV protect ( wash and wax). They quoted 1360rs [surprise] i usually get it cleaned from a local guy but he was busy.

Then i booked an appointment from urban clap for 500rs.
The exterior treatment include shampoo , rubbing polish and wax. It started raining as soon as the guys arrive[lol] got the car cleaned in my uncle's underground parking.
And here are the results. They used 3m products :p

The rubbing really did wonders. The car looks good as new. Will do this once every year.

I too thought of adding silver finished alloys in the beginning but shelved the plans since i didn't want to spend on alloys. I am neutral to alloys , not a big fan.

Hi Everyone,
I own Figo TDCI trend. I had reported the left pulling issue during the first service itself. They were not able to resolve it completely, But the pull was not that quick as it was earlier. I revisited the SC to fix it. According to them, the WB & WA was correct. So SA took a mechanic with me on a test drive and would drive for some metres and would tighten some nut under the left tyre and again drive to test it. We did some 5-8 such rounds and the pulling was not that fast as earlier. Now the pulling was delayed by 10-15 sec. But the steering wheel centre alignment was misplaced. I asked them to fix it and they said, it would reset the pulling issue again. I got frustrated and thought to leave with it.

For the 2nd service, i visited a different SC and reported the left pulling issue along with the steering wheel misalignment. They fixed the steering misalignment but couldn't fix the pulling issue completely. They tried everything from WB, WA, tyre interchange, But no use. I reported the issue to Service Manager. He joined for a for test ride and he had a different theory behind it. He said that's actually a feature- The car pulls to left after 10-15 secs if the steering is left unattended. I was shocked to hear this. I asked him for any official document where this is mentioned and he is still sending it to me.
Another thing is these SC guys are damn rash drivers. While i was seating besides them, the way they were revving up my car was shocking. During a test ride with the service manager, he took a immediate right from a left lane to take a U turn and a pickup Van dashed us from behind as this Service manager didn't even cared to give an indicator. The right side of my bumper got scratched. I had to leave the car for a week for the paint job.
After all this I thought of leaving with the pulling issue, as i think these service center folks are not well trained to understand or solve the issue. Also, while trying to fix this issue they may introduce some bigger issues in my car.
In short, I have experienced the left pull issue in my car. It doesn't pull immediately after leaving the steering, but after 10-15 secs and its not that strong which causes pain in your arms while driving. I have completed 17K on the odo within 1year and has not felt the issue to affect my driving or the uneven worning-out of tyres. But yes the left pulling issue exist.

I guess its a sub frame issue, as per the reports from earlier pages of this forum,
Still if its not terribly wrong I guess its best left unattended as these SA are not good in diagnosing and finding a solution, even in TAI Ecosport thread there are lots of complaints regarding the lack of knowledge of Ford service personals, so if its not annoying lets keep it as such before a final confirmed solution is out .

We are on the same boat. I too left the issue as it is. But in my case the service centre entire team is very helpful they tried their level best but could not fix it(you can read my previous posts on the same). I don't think ford will come up with a solution.

After welcoming Renault kwid to the family two months back figo is driven very less and the ODO is still at 16500km where as Kwid completed 6000km ODO.

What about the new batch cars?
Has Ford rectified this in them or the issue still exists in new cars?
Also, is this issue present in Aspire?

I am in the process of finalizing Figo D but if the new batch also has this problem and Aspire doesn't then I may opt for Aspire Titanium.

No such reports so far from cars bought after 2017 February, still we are not sure whether a lot of customers even notice this at first place

Noob question : People keep talking about the left pull , what exactly is it and when does it occur ? Does it happen under flooring the A pedal and there's a wheel spin or when you let go of the wheel? I'm only asking because I've trashed our Figo around and I haven't noticed anything . I've also driven a friends Automatic Figo which has also been put through the wringer for a good amount of Km's and it was pretty much the same.

This is the issue
The user of this car has largely solved the issue by swapping tires to 15" tires

Sorry about the late reply.

Sirji I don't think it is the ideal place to fit those auxiliary lights as it can affect the cooling system of engine.
I am not really sure about it, experts can check on it and correct me.
I do agree that there will be an adverse effect on the cooling. But It will be negligible in my case because of the amount of cooling contributed by the obstructed Grill. Only three slats are having are open channels of air. The slats that are above them are sealed. So the effects on the cooling will be low. The inconspicuous lower grill shoulders the maximum effort in cooling. In addition to this, my speed is a docile 80kmph most of the time which would lowers the cooling requirement by a bigger margin, given the fact that the cooling system is expected to be efficient at a much higher highway speed.
Are you using all the lights when you drive in the roads ? It will block the visibility of the drivers who come in the opposite side. Once I came across a Fortuner near Tirunelveli. He was using more than 10 lights and around 4 lights in the roof in the night time. So just think how the drivers would have spoken of him [frustration]
No sir, I dont keep them all all the time like those hardhearted oncoming traffic drivers, who instigated me in to doing this, always did. I drive like a fighter pilot with one finger on the switch almost all the time, especially while on the dual carriage way. I drive with the OEM headlight dipped(55Wx2) without even the OEM foglights. But when I get blinded by a vehicle I switch them on. I immediately switch them off on passing the dazzling vehicle. I usually avoid switching them on to the extent that is possible without putting myself at risk. I overlook the 60w OEM guys going without dipping. I only react to the acute dazzling vehicles like the lorries, pvt buses and extremely modified lights of passenger vehicles. I tried in vain to save my eyes within the ambit of OEMs but couldn't avoid taking counter measures. Topping it all, what I have done to my car is perfectly legal. I have used 55w lamps and my auxiliary lights are mounted with their axis much below the axis of the OEM headlights. My lights are pointed at the ground and I keep a No 13 box spanner to readjust it when the angle of lights get tampered by others. So even when I switch them on, my objective is to see the danger ahead of me rather than causing the danger of blinding the oncoming guy, even though he dazzles me.

Re: New Ford Figo Trend (Diesel) | 3rd Service Update | 20,000 Kms: Ownership Review

@1989 - Thanks fam! Interesting video , It has never happened to me - Might have been lucky on this one(if it's an issue at all) but just one thing , if you look at the video at the 1:00 minute mark after he swerves to the right lane , he let's go of the wheel a couple of times and the car does not move to the left - at all because his steering is tilted slightly towards the right . He then tilts it to the left(almost) and the car moves towards the left. What exactly is the problem here? and who let's go of the steering wheel on a car? Two hands at all times was exactly what I was taught .

I also decided to try this out today on a wide enough road at night with our Brio and it does the same thing after a few seconds , either moves to the right or the left depending on where the steering is at (It's hard to keep the steering at dead center without inputs you know ). If you have to fight the wheel at speeds of less than 70-80 kmph to keep the car straight then it could be a problem. But what's up with letting go of the wheel and expecting it to go straight ?

Could any of you help me with exact match up spray paint for White Ford Figo(New). If any of you can also include link that would really be helpful. TIA [glasses]
Usually the spray painter removes the petrol tank lid/tow hook and takes to paint shop where they match the paint and each colour shade is colour coded and an expert painter mixes paint to some extent to cope for the old sun faded paint prior in your car.
