Even I tried finding the cabin air filter and it doesn't seem as easy as in some other cars. If the previous Figo is anything to go by I believe its best I leave the job to the pros....

Re: New Ford Figo Trend (Diesel) | 3rd Service Update | 20,000 Kms: Ownership Review

Pardon my ignorance but I just had a few dumb questions

1. Would it be possible for the Ford mechanics to tweak my car's current suspension setup to match the Figo S?

2. Will upsizing to 195/55 on the current suspension setup void suspension warranty like I was told?

3. Can my headlamps undergo the same smoked treatment or would it require a brand new unit?

Thanks !

Can this be done even on 2010 Figo with out any wiring changes ? Just a bulb change. Please advice. Thanks.
If you are using 55W bulb no need of wiring change but keep in mind that if you are used to prolonged night driving your light reflector gets tarnished to yellow colour in that case please change over to ceramic bulb holder which usually comes as a kit with wiring harness and relay easily available from reputed brands like PHILIPS, HELLA ,ROOTS etc.

1. Suspension tweak is not possible but a suspension change is well possible, Bielstien or TRD or any 3rd party manufactured shocks can be used.

2. Yes it will void warranty as per Ford, but upping tire by not changing diameter wont void warranty, like changing from 175/55 R14 to 185/55 R14 wont void warranty and will make perceptible difference in handling as well

3. Possible but needs skilled work force

New Ford Figo Trend (Diesel) | 3rd Service Update | 20,000 Kms: Ownership Review

had a bad day yesterday crashing my front left fender and below panel of door area. it was a left pull which caused this and car steer over a concrete slab hitting bottom. gave car for service and need body work and one guy told that ford had sent out an internal mail to service center stating the left pull of the vehicle and every Figo is affected by a slight pull. they also state that solution will be provided in 1-2 Month time. had anyone solved this issue ?

Very sorry to hear about that! You said the left pull caused the accident, was the steering free during that time??
Asked the service manager about any left pulling issue mail by Ford India. He declined any such thing, maybe he didn't want to share this info if it's true! It would be a good move by Ford India if they issue a recall for the Figos affected by this problem.

No it was a left turn and then straight. Wheels went off alignment after the turn and made it straight

Actually its pretty clear its an alignment based issue based on inputs from various forums, but sadly I cant say which alignment and balancing shop does it best and can be advised to rectify the issue, this issue has plagued not only Figo but some other hatch backs as well , its a case of poor engineering by both the tire company and the car brand itself in testing it with a specific tire.

Ya .. I will do an alignment at official service first and see. I had asked for a tire rotation as well. I don't think it's related to wheel balancing as there is 0 vibrate on steering.

I was thinking of billestein suspension upgrade earlier but will wait to see what ford had to say since they might tell that had caused this issue. wait for ford to resolve it and upgrade

This was reported in a lot of whats app forums and a lot of users in the forums advised for proper 3D wheel balancing alignment and rotation if needed , and more than 3/5 who had this left pull issue got their issue solved after the above procedures were done in some reputed shops, but some still has the issue unsolved
So my guess is its because of lack of proper testing of stock tires wheels and hubs by Ford Mo Co, the inquiry to Ford regarding this issue havent had a positive reply so far[frustration]

They had done a subframe allignment and wheel allignment. so far issue seems to be solved. And everyone make sure to have correct tire pressure. They told to maintain 32psi in all 4.

Is that an official work done by Ford India or is that one that the dealer did as a trial and error move?
