Re: New Ford Figo Trend (Diesel): Ownership Review

I have booked trend variant. According to Ad about new ford figo it seems that Trend variant has very good enough bookings. May be due to less response to titanium and + variants they have provided free insurance and exchange benefits. I have tried of saying I will cancel my booking but they are OK even to loose a customer[confused].
Yes, it seems that trend is the trend of India.

I think you have only one dealer in your city. This is why he is confident that you will not go anywhere.

If you have another dealer in the city, contact them. If you do not have another dealer in the city, contact dealer in nearby city. You need not to visit them personally, take number online and call them.

Tell the new dealer about your exact current booking status. Tell them that you have booked the car with so and so dealer and they are delaying the delivery. Ask them if they can give a better deal and faster delivery of your preferred model and color.

New dealer will take more interest as they are getting business of another dealer. If they give you a better deal with promise of faster delivery, you can now visit them. You can now call your current dealer and tell them that this dealer is giving so and so freebies and faster delivery and you are shifting your order to this dealer. Now I am sure their tone will change. Now, you will be in driving seat and take your pick. [:)]

This is such a pathetic situation, I dont understand why dealers of VW,Ford, are so full of bigotery,Ford has given India a masterpiece product that should give sleepless nights to anything and everything from Swift to Polo GT TDI and yet Ford s pathetic dealers are so much fraudulent that they never try to become a part of success,
I stay in Kerala and here in Harry Ford TVM the dealers is always ready to give some ground for customer to buy the product, dont know why some dealers are so ill,
Smart products killed by foolish dealers.

Re: New Ford Figo Trend (Diesel): Ownership Review

Hi guys, Thank you so much for all the quick response. I went and spoke to the manager, he along with my SA and another sales manager figured out the cause for the delay. I have selected Trend Diesel (Blue) and its the colour thats making things tricky as this particular colour is hard to get and in total 6 more blue colour trend variant are stuck in the sAme process. He asked me if I had any other choice of colour in my mind because they had silver, red, grey and white cars in the stockyard reAdy to be sold. I accompanied my SA to check out red colour but it just did not have that wow factor as blue did. Blue simply looks majestic guys, if any of you are planning to buy the new figo.. Its a request to please checkout blue. I will ask for the freebies for sure. I think I am very well entitled for it now. I guess I shall wait for few more days but will go for blue. I will surely post some nice pictures so that I can share with you the beauty that is blue. :-)

Also do make sure to update on whether the new batch Figos have fixes head rests on all variants or is it for Titanium only or is it even available?

Re: New Ford Figo Trend (Diesel): Ownership Review

just had the 3rd tankful today [:D]

distance 574 kms , diesel - 33.73 liters
mileage of 17 kmpl [clap] this is 100% city driving with around 60% ac usage.
and this was with economy mode off ,have turned it on this time.
the range showed 90 kms and after filling it showed 751 kms.
also noticed the range going up and down. saw it drop to 96 and after a minute it was 98 kms. this doesn't happen in the verna.

Yes !! we have only one dealer. And nearest dealer is at 200 km and to my bad luck this is the branch of same dealer [frustration]. Tried all options with no result I am waiting for delivery date. Once date is confirmed I will start asking for any freebies. Meanwhile I am enjoying ownership reviews..[clap]

Hi Fordguy18, you're right. This is not listed on the Ford website and is only available in the accessories brochure at the dealership. Its for 5k, but worth every single penny for me. It'll add some beauty to the car and also would help look the car a bit longer.

You are welcome bro.

As 1989rs500 pointed out it is unfortunate and pathetic behavior by dealers. Please keep on updating the status here. The dealership is owned by one of us (Indians) and they will behave like we do. Any new launch which gets good response from public and if they are alone in the region (Single Dealer) gets in head of these people.

@carguy, how much is the spoiler costing you? I am yet to see any car in blue. Please post the pics once you get yours. You have made me interested in blue now. [:)]
