Sorry to hear of so many issues in your Manza prashanth, the corrosion issue is really painful to see in your car and worse is your car being white in color, the rusted parts gets highlighted.

I am surprised by looking at that sticker mark in the headlamp, it doesn't happen in my alto too. So lesson learnt, peel off those stickers asap. Just because these A.S.S guys want to market their centre, they damage our property.

Were you washing car daily with hard water (chennai)?

Valid point, hope you do not wash your car in hard/salt water. Use normal municipal (treated) water to wash car always.

@All I only wipe the car myself no driver wash or separate person for that. My drivers put hose and wash the Indica V2 and they are good even after 3-5 years.This problem they itself accept as their mistake.Its not the matter of hard or Soft water.

If the rusts are reappearing even after painting, your car may indeed be a defective one.

Please contact another TASS and TML directly, asking for justification/compensation.

Take example of other Manza owners in Chennai.

You may also take the Consumer Forum Route. Recently there was a similar judgement passed against TML where they had to compensate the owner.

@guralla: the rto says the light should not be direct and the new age bulbs them self have a black spot on tip so those stupid stickers are not required

TASS NAME IS POKMA AUTOMOBILES ambattur chennai and they say tml doesn't make full payment as per warrenty job done bill so any thing we need we should contact tml for instant recovery itseems

I would suggest you to visit CONCORDE MOTORS Chennai as its a TML owned TASS.
They may look into your case from better perspective.

On the date of sale they said ELAN and AURA(ABS) has bluetooth only extra but there are huge differences between the two as the picture below will state





After getting this details from the OE servicing technician I was taken back in shock and called Soundarrajan Team Leader Tafe Reach who was the great person who sold the vehicle and asked him about this and he says he doesn't know about this feature and difference at all and the GM of Tafe Reach Mr.Krishnan didn't attend the call and there was no reply at all.

I mailed to Mr.Karl Slym and took refund as cheque Rs.27000 and told them to keep the ICE with them itself.So people who own the TATA Manza 2009 till date having AURA model are cheated by Tata Motors LTD. without stating this difference they have made the sale in all dealership across the country.

People who think that your cheated or who have problem in playing pen drives with more than 2 GB capacity can Fight with your dealership or TML direct as this feature and explanation was not explained before sale. Totally different product

Aah, now I know why people complain why some files do not play on Manza ICE.

But sir, I cannot help you on this, mine is Aqua model, so I have my own after market ICE setup.

I have a Aura ABS and use a 16GB pen drive to play my mp3 songs. Haven't faced any issue either with the reading/navigation of files or with playback.

Good to read that you tenaciously followed up with TATAS and got the refund.

Mine is Aura feb 11 model,I do not use pendrives for music .But I face a problem when I attach my samsung Galaxy ACE through USB port ,the ICE can't play mass media files,however from other brand phones it does .
I had reported this to NAW pune TASS ,the SA bluffed that It can't play using ACE .

I am going to raise this issue with Concorde TOASS

@tornado:proceed man if u want I have a copy of cheque also and after that I have installed touch screen dvd player which can play songs from external hard disc also.


The pokma gm himself did not have idea about this issue so please people who use manza return the stupidotic ICE get money and purchase some good one.

Not only customers the service sales and everyone are cheated by tat motors
