Absolute rubbish. We have a post by Vibhor our admin in which there is the pic of the ruling for logistic charges in Delhi. I'll post it here. Show them the copy and then revert over here if they still do not budge then tell me. Which is the dealer you have approached?
I shall try again and let you know the outcome. Though I found this on another forum
What is your take on this ?

I would like some clarification regarding the " handling charges" charged by maruti dealers. I am in the process of purchasing a maruti vehicle from a dealers and they are quoting Rs.5750/- as handling charges. I would like to know the advisory given by Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. to its dealers on charging the same from its consumers. These charges have been termed as illegal as per recent judgement in the month of January 2012. Link : Government to car dealers: Waive handling charges - Times Of India Kindly provide me the view as taken by MSIL. Regards **
Gear lock is not OEM manufactured Accessory buddy, it comes as add-on. If one does not have then maybe other dealer will have it. Else you can fix it after buying too.
Oh! I was not aware of this. Thanks for the knowledge.
Nothing so special in sales figures of CIAZ. It is an average performer if compared to CITY. Discounts depend on the dealer and buyer should have negotiating skills. No dealer will bow down to a buyer's demand for discounts in the first instance. Always remember, due to us customers these dealers are surviving.
I have visited them twice and have been getting their calls continuously since I approached them. I have assured them that I am not going to buy unless you provide some discount and each time they respond with - "Sorry sir, we can't give you any".
Though I shall keep budging them :)
I have not checked the recent sales figure but in last quarter of 2014, sales figures of both (city & ciaz) were neck to neck. Moreover, I visited honda dealers as well and hardly could found any buyer interested in city but on other hand, I saw total 6 ciaz on delivery line. Though nothing can be generalized by considering the figures of 2-3 showrooms.
Thanks
Sandeep
Ask him to provide price details/invoice for each of the things in that Basic Kit.

Don't pay anything apart from Ex Showroom Price, Road Tax, Insurance. If you're taking temporary registration you should pay only Rs500 and not more then that.
If he questions anything just say him these are not the things that are meant to paid by customer. And ultimately say clearly to him that You'll Not Pay It.
Sure thing, I shall wait for their call and shall convey same things.
Thanks again!
