Hmm, prices are quite high and that's why I am not going to buy any from them.
Just planning to buy scuff plates,side beam from them. Because former requires an election connection though which does not interfere with any of existing electrical wiring but still don't want them to have an excuse, if something goes later on.

Lets have face to face chat with the dealer. Someone has to take a stand and avoid this baseless charge. Their fuel and Driver is not used/hired by us then why we must pay? After completing 10 Posts here you'll be entitled to send PM i.e Private message. So then we may exchange our contact numbers and plan the visit buddy.

Just planning to buy scuff plates,side beam from them. Because former requires an election connection though which does not interfere with any of existing electrical wiring but still don't want them to have an excuse, if something goes later on.

In ZXI I don't think you need a gear lock. its a key less entry and has good secured locking system.

After this response, I got a call from Maruti and they asked about any nearest dealer so I told about D.D. Motors Mayapuri which is nearby to Tilak Nagar where I stay. Though I never received any call from D.D. and I wrote again to Maruti but they have not responded yet.

I went to D.D. Motor day before yesterday and I asked them about logistic charges. I even had a word with their manager and told them about Delhi Government grievance cell, where I shall file a complain if they would not waive off this. I categorically confirmed with them that will they provide the itemized bill mentioning about Logistic charges and they confirmed the same. I also told them that I shall file a complain about logistic charges with RTO and other concerned authorities and they were ok with that.

And you would not believe, up to which level I have grilled them for this logistic charges but they said that this is approved by Maruti and can't be waived off.

After that I again visited them today to finalize the colour and raised the topic again but their response was same. Though I have not yet given to booking amount.

What do you say guys?

Sandeep, appears to me the above response is like a "Vacation Response" from Maruti. A standard language we have there. The best would be, in this case lets talk with the dealer itself and work out a discount in lieu of these "Company Policy" Charges.

Hi All,
I have one more query. Please bear with me.
Dealer is saying that once I shall provide booking amount, he will book the car for me. Day before delivery, I can do PDI and next day I have to deposit full amount. As per him, they are already having some High security number plates with them and I shall be given 5 options to choose from.

Now I am unable to digest the following part, he said that temporary RTO slip would be handed over to me after 2 days of delivery and as per him insurance also would be applicable once they will have that RTO slip.

Don't you think it is too risky to get an uninsured car out of the showroom ? For private vehicles, registration is online and you get the temporary registration instantly, it's only RC which is deliverd to you after a certain period of time.

I think dealer is saving his efforts and process such tasks in chunks but I really want to avoid their process and don't want to have car out of the showroom with out insurance at least.

Suggestions please.

I have also took delivery of my "White Pearl", a Pearl Snow White ZXi-AT 5 days back. The car is a gem. The white is not usual white but feels beyond words, its pearl shine. I am pretty happy with my purchase after so much of research and test drives of almost all cars in C1 segment. Will share feedback with you Ciaaaz!

I ordered many MGA accessories, I would suggest you go for illuminated scuff plates, they are worth of money I would say from my experience.

I have put a art-leather carpet to protect beige floor carpet which got spoiled within 2 days, I found it wont last a month. To my surprise, many shops have floor lamination carpet tailor made for exactly fitting Ciaz in beige color. Only thing that they would remove seats/plastic panels etc. which was a long work.

I also found a disadvantage of Pearl snow white: I found few small dots of greasy material on my car bonnet on one morning. I used shampoo to wash it off. Most of it got off but faint yellow stains still could be seen on white pearly paint.......any idea from community to remove/vanish them .

hi..

i purchaed a new Ciaz Zxi+ 10 days back againt an exchange of my Sx4 Zxi car. driven around 300 mkts. and pretty ok in the performance. As of now keeping up to my expectations.

One problem I have and the dealer also checking with Bosch and maruti engineers on the problem with the music system. as per the manual, I can conect an external DVD player thorugh the USB port in the system and play music/video DVDs. But in my system as well as the similar cars in the dealers show room the external DVD player is not working.

did any one checked this thecar ? is this working ? if it is working how is the settings..

Congratulation on the new car. I am about to book (by this weekend) Ciaz ZXI manual dignity brown. How is the feel of the engine, I have not TD petrol engine. How is the NVH level?

I enquired about the under body paint but SA told that it's not required for Ciaz. Please confirm.

VXi+ does not have reverse parking camera (as in ZXi), how difficult is it to reverse your car ?
Have you installed any parking sensors ?

Is the spare wheel an alloy or is it a normal steel rim wheel ? Somewhere I read, some dealers do mischief and replace alloys with steels and say that it is company fitted.
