@Releesh, it is just for aesthetics / looks.. Since it is stuck using double sided tape. I am not sure if it can hold any weight on them. But we can mount fog lamps on them. [glasses]

Waggy, xylo and Scorpio comes with bolt on type roof rails, they are strong and can carry weight on them.

It has been quite a long time since I have updated the thread.

Car is doing fine as usual. Has completed around 21k kms as of now. Service is due at 22k kms.
Have carried out couple of mods like rear wash n wipe, defogger, roof mounted led spot lamps etc.

Hi Varun
Our Enjoy has almost run 5000 km.
Today evening as I was returning home suddenly the Engine Malfunction Indicator lit up in amber color and is staying on. I did nothing extraordinary than my usual driving. Any clue.....

Did you try switching off the engine and turning it on again ? Also try disconnecting the battery for 10-15 min and reconnect and check.

Did you feel any power loss ?

No Varun, I did not try anything. When I searched the net regarding Fiat Multijet engines I found that, if you reconnect the battery, the light may go off; but the ECU may register a malfunction code and fuel will be injected as per that code. Thus may affect the fuel efficiency. Is this info right? The dealer asked me to take the car to them

It is strongly recommended that you take the car to service center and get the issue resolved. Because there was similar case in my car too and the SA mentioned some code and set it right.

Hi Varun
I visited the service centre. They scanned the engine and adviced that the vacuum pipe was chocked. They rectified it in half hour. When I inquired them about the reason for the choking they explained that the spring placed inside the pipe to keep the pipe from chocking was somehow dislocated. Anyway the light has gone off

What is the latest service interval given by the company to you now? i.e., to change the engine oil Is it for 15k or 7k?

I drove Varun's car 2 weeks back, it's kind of awesome to drive and very ahead of mine, because of the re-map and broader tyres. Let us see how it performs on highways.

Hi Viswas
The dealer has asked me to come for service / oil change every 7500 Km. This is indicated in the service manuals also. 2 days back we made a Bangalore trip with 4 on board. We covered nearly 1200 km. We were traveling on an average speed of 80 to 100 km. But we could manage only a mileage 15.7 kmpl. I expected a more robust fuel efficiency - 17+ kmpl - for such long trips. Is the FE I got ok? I think staying in 80s will give you more FE.

Since your car is new, it will take time for the Engine to get used, the mileage will raise to 17 kmpl once the Engine oil and Oil filter is changed. 15.7 is what i too got when i drove in run in period.
