If you have not yet purchased the Enjoy LTZ, better go for the 7 seater option. The seating area in the middle row bench seat of the 8 seater version is very narrow compared to the captain seats. The inside of the vehicle seems to be too cramped in the 8-seater version. The captain seats offers good seating position and view, good leg room and lumbar & thigh support also.

The only inconvenience - as you have already suggested - is accessing the third row. But in all cars that are having captain seats (for e.g. Toyota Innova) it is so. Once you get used to it, it will not pose a big hindrance.

Thanks Saji for the response. But I have already purchased one on Monday.
I will soon post some photos.
First reaction is that the car is very good and VFM.

I was thinking of Front and Rear guard accessories from Chevrolet which is made up of Fiber and not steel, it looks cool. I will post photos or links of some website. if anyone has any feedback for these then it would be helpful. it does make Enjoy look more sporty.

Kaps congrats. I would suggest not to get any crash guards (steel/iron or fiber).

It would spoil the looks IMO also it will block the ventilation to the intercooler which is placed too low in our car. Instead please invest money on better tires.

Dear Kaps, hearty congratulations for your new acquisition of Enjoy from a Fellow Enjoy owner, your second purchase from the same brand shows your brand loyalty and if you don't mind please do share the offer you got on brand loyalty.

IMO i had plans to put those front crash guards from company itself but when i saw that fixed in other cars it looked pretty flimsy because of the poor plastic quality and not robust finish when viewed from rearwards of the crash guards and as rightly said by Varun it objects the intercooler which in-turn resists the proper air-inflow inside the cabin(i.e., Cabin cooling effect gets hampered).

If crash guard is must for you then, I suggest you have look at what Carryboy offers, as long as i'd experienced in my cousin's bolero, it gave a raw monster look and hard hitter as well.

Hi. Tyre advice request

Hi Varun and Others. I have been following this thread for long however this is my first post. We own an Enjoy LTZ. It has done 58000Kms. The tyres are done. I was recommended Michelin XM2 185/70 by a Michelin dealer. However Bridgestone dealer has advised strongly against going for 185/70 as he is sure the tyre would rub the rods or something. I do not want to go for less than 70 as I am worried about GC, comfort etc. Correct me if going for 65 or less would not be a problem. The car is used mostly on the highway with 4 people. The odometer error would not matter. From your posts I have realised that you have not considered Michelin at all. Why is that so. Advise me a choice from Good Year/Michelin XM2/Bridegestone. Thanks

Hi,

There would be no issues with 185/70 or 185/65. I am running second set of tires. Both are 195/60.
Michelin is soft compound, since the car is heavy they would not last long. My yoko es100 lasted just 30k kms. You can try potenza g3 or my02 from BS.

Soon enough my friend from chennai was asking my opinion for a seven seater car. I told him to check this out. Guess what He owns...? a top end diesel now!

Thanks Varun, for the ride to Chennai.
The ride was quite an eye opener, silent cabin, constant ability to cruise @ 120kmph without stress, terrific mid row cooling from roof ac, robust suspension, I would say your car is like "Wolf is sheeps clothes". Looks are a subjective topic, in my opinion people misjudge the awesomeness of a car by just looking at the exteriors. Anyone who wants to buy a 7seater should have a look at the enjoy.
