@Highway Ranger
Abt' Rear Speaker are you refering to the set behind the seat or at rear door? I have in the rear doors & front doors
Still with original Fog Lamps.
I am talking about the set behind the rear seat. They make a huge difference as the whole boot acts as the speaker box. You would get good Bass effect.

Please do add those speakers if you like listening to music while driving.

Manza is stable at very high speeds. We also tested 170 kmph for a short distance some time ago (only to check capability of the car). It was stable and planted ride at that speed.
Since many of you have driven at that high speed & don't have a left pulling problem can you share your alignment values with me.

@Highway Ranger
You had developed left pulling after some service did that sorted out if yes how, what did they do?

Please do add those speakers if you like listening to music while driving.
Have they now removed those bass speaker from rear that user have too add it?

My issue is not pulling to the left, but much worse. Steering wobble between the speeds of 100 and 120.

They had replaced the front discs as there was shuddering while braking. The reason, disc bent. So I assume that the wheel rims might have also bent to some extent. That might be causing the wobble.

I have bought a new rim. What I plan to do is to use the two front tyres on the new rim and the spare rim which is also almost new. and then check. Haven't got the opportunity to do it yet.

It is now available in only certain models. The rest have the rear speakers on the rear door pads similar to the front speakers.

I checked with my manager on a review about TATA cars
he informed service is not that good in delhi and NCR
since most of TATA car owners are drivers and transporters
therefore they treat you like one and try to shove you off by giving you odd reasons
when there is a problem with the car

A email to Tata customer care should solve that. If it is really bad, they will send a Tata representative to your service station to get your problem solved.

For me almost all the part replacement got done without any hassle. For the fog lamp, I had to wait as the part was not in stock and I was not keen on getting it replaced as they were working anyway.

Gypsy,

I have not faced this left pulling. In fact many times when driving through roads with sparse traffic, I do remember you and keep my hands off the steering wheel. Could not find any sideway pulling.

Could not understand your request. From where I can get those alignment values?

This thread given below may be of interest to you where left pulling in various cars are discussed. http://www.theautomotiveindia.com/f...-volkswagen-polos-camber-setting-out-how.html

AS you have got the alignment & wheel balancing done just recently they should have done a report, most users don't ask for that report but if they have saved it in computer they can give you a print out or else if you take the car to alignment machine it will give you the reading, I just need those values specifically from those users who don't have this left pulling at all.

My take on this left pulling is that tata default values are wrong & dealer are changing it to keep the left pulling minimized without informing the users, it has its own implication but that's the only method which is working in my car (left pulling gets reduced) but tata officials dont approve the change of these settings which are beyond default limit.

I need 3 values of
Toe in/out (mostly its toe in)
camber -/+ values (this should mostly be positive value)
caster

My doctor last Wednesday removed all the restrictions he had imposed on me and I was free to carry on my normal life.

So,with the long weekend, we decided to go for a long drive to unwind. We ruled out all the tourist attractions as we were sure the places would be over crowded.

Instead, we went for a long drive – Bangalore to Virudhunagar (NH7 after Madurai) – to our relative’s place to spend a couple of days.
Total distance covered 1044 kms.

Friday I took the car to a small time wheel alignment shop near my house and got my good tires fixed on good rims, wheels balanced and aligned. This guy did not have any modern alignment machine, but did do with whatever machine he had.

The result – no steering wobble at high speeds and the car was a delight to drive at high speeds.[clap]

The roads were great for high speed driving.
NH7

NH7 has a lot of telephone like booths every 2 kms, marked SOS or some code nos. Though I have seen these many times, this time I stopped to see what exactly it was. I didn’t test it though. Would help if someone got stranded.

There was a difference in the distance traveled between the odometer and the GPS calculation. The Odometer showed a distance of 418 kms from the petrol bunk in Virudhunagar to the A2B BP bunk between Krishnagiri and Hosur, whereas the GPS clocked 405.4 Kms for the same distance.

The FE for the trip.

From A2B BP Krishnagiri to Virudhunagar with some deviation to go into the town of Karur, from Virudhunagar to Sivakasi and back (60 kms)– state highway with speed bumps every other km. (never drove in 5th gear), some 15 kms inside Virudhunagar.
100% AC – 18.14 Kmpl - average cruising speed on NH7 – 120 kmph

From Virudhunagar to A2B krishnagiri – NH7
100% AC – 21.13 Kmpl - average cruising speed on NH7 – 120 kmph

Enjoyed the drive and the trip.[:D]

BTW,
Drives are getting costlier with new toll booths coming up along the way.

Total toll payed one way - 25+50+79+63+38+71+49+55=430rs

Happy to see the HR back to Highway.

Great set of pics buddy. Even I too like NK7 because of no traffic with neatly layed road.

I can say from Madurai to Virudhunagar would be a best road to test the highspeed of our cars.

Glad to know that you back to action.

Anither good news is that wobbling issue is fixed by the local tyre shop.

Those pictures and settings are superb.

What is that shade difference on the boot lid in the 4th picture?

That is all about wheel alignment where we hear engineers from company and computerised machine failed to solve and blah blah. Its all about expertise and knack.
my punto had slight right pulling which Tass couldnt rectify ,to be precise couldn't identify which was fixed by myself and a young trainee in alignment who is my neighbour. All we need was a 11/16 spanner and some patience.

Thanks Appu.

Very true. Once we cross Salem, the highway opens up. Great driving on these roads. Chennai route is a pain now a days due to the ongoing road widening work.

Planning to make a Chennai trip towards the end of this month.

Glad to know that you back to action.

Thanks autosafari. Now the car and I are back to normal. It is a great relief.

Shade difference on the boot lid? Within the same picture or in comparison with the other pictures? The pictures were taken at different times/days - the first 2 while going and the rest on the return trip. The point and shoot camera's EV was set high by my wife for some reason and I didn't check that. Only later did I realize that the pictures were over exposed and got the setting back.

Wonderful pic's, good to see the FE number's of your car
Thanks visran, I am always happy with the highway mileage. it is the city mileage that I am a bit worried about. 14 to 15 kmpl in Bangalore.

True. This guy hardly had any equipment worth mentioning. If Gypsy asks me to give him the values, I am stumped. This was no computerized wheel alignment center, so no printouts. This guy did the whole works, selecting the good rims and the good tyres for those rims changing the tyres, balancing and alignment in around an hours time.
