I plan to go for that. From below link by caroo there is another plan like Rs.10K for 3 yr/20k kms. Is it still available

Last service in Concorde Chennai the SA told me that synthetic oil change and oil filter change would cost around Rs.9000. For 10K service and 20K service I would be paying 18000 for oil and filter. So AMC would be favourable to us. Pls advise

Since now I m in Bangalore I will contact KHT. Can AMC be purchased from any TASS?

Last week I drove over a stone which was just small enough to go under the bumper and the shield got bent and touching the gearbox. So lot of noise while engine running. I went to KHT and got it bent back to position. There was one SA Viswanath who attended. Did not know about SM. will be dealing careful with him. Thanks for info.
It should be still available

AMC can be purchased from any Tass.

I remember that the oil change service was much less. Around 5 to 6000 rs.

I think Autosafari has posted his scanned bill in his post. You can check it. He paid only 3500 odd.

My bill was higher than autosafari's because I chanced oil at 20000kms and I had to replace the fuel filter as per service guidelines. came to around 5000 rs.

Every time I get the car serviced/waterwashed, the door ajar warning keeps beeping. This keeps on for a few hours and after that everything is back to normal. On one occasion, I had to disconnect the battery terminal overnight. Last month, they serviced the car and I pointed out this to them. They tried all the doors and found that the dicky switch was the culprit.

Instead of trying to figure out how the water was entering the switch and insulating the switch, they told me that the switch is defective and it was due to me installing additional LEDs.

They told me that they cannot do anything as this was my fault.
For the feedback request from Prerana motors, I have them 9/10. Then, when Tatamotors asked for the feedback, I told them that I was not at all satisfied with their attitude and told them that I was changing the service station for my future services and gave them a rating of 0/10 overall.

I got a few calls from Prerana motors regarding this, and I told them not to bother me as they were history as far as I was concerned. They said the usual stuff like “sorry, sir, for the inconvenience. We will take action against the concerned persons”.

When I received the 4th call from them and the sorry statement, I asked what action they have taken on the concerned persons. Then they transferred my call to their PRO and she, after hearing my complaint, told me that they will send a service engineer to my place to sort out the issue on Tuesday.

Nothing happened on Tuesday and Wednesday, (yesterday), I get a call from a service engineer if he could come that day. I told him to come today as I was busy. He has called me today and said that he will come around 11am.
Let me see what happens.

Good to know that things are improving and TATA Motors is taking dealers to task.

Still the 'Government office' type attitude appears sometimes - hang over from the past.

It may take some more time to have total cultural change at the dealerships.

Same happened with me with issue regarding suspensions in my punto. When I gave them 0 on call from TATA, suddenly after feedback call was done , received a call from service center. Sir why you gave 0 and bla bla bla. Then they send engineer at my place to diagnose the issue. SO these people do work, but only after a kick on their back side. But after changing service center, now with fortune motors powai, there is not much issue.

I never get call form the TATA motors customer care to ask feedback or any other updates promotion offers . on Recent visit to the KHT motors i got to know that the contact number of mine is wrong in their record. one digit got interchanged. That was the reason for me not receiving any calls. I told him to correct this. They told they have corrected and I got a call from the KHT motors PRO or CRM . But I did not get any call from TATA motors customer care. What should i do for my number to appear correct and TATA to call me for feedback??

The service engineer came as promised, checked all the doors, lights, horn, seatbelt warning and found them working properly. Then he asked me what was my problem. After listening to me, he open removed the dicky door switch and cleaned the contacts and fixed it back.

When I asked him, how, I will know if the problem has been solved, he asked me to take a long drive for say 20 kms and see if the problem arises.[frustration]

In the customer satisfaction receipt, I removed the "done to my satisfaction. I have taken a test drive and the vehicle is in good condition" and wrote "to be tested after water wash".

In return I got a small gift from Prerana motors.

@Rudolf Diesel

Now you will start getting calls from Tatamotors, for KHT will forward your records. (Provided you give a good when KHT called).

This is now present in my car also Have booked appointment with KHT motors

For the Oil change (castrol professional edge 5w40) and oil filter change, they should have charged I think. Does TATA provide these free of cost. Because When i went for 2nd service, the SA told that oil and filter will be charged. My car has now run 9800 kms. Due for service in this month. So asking.
Hi Rudolf,

Sorry for the late reply, but i think you got the answers already from HR.
AMC has its own advantages... You save a lot on the car maintainace, it costed me around 10K during the purchase of the car. You can check with your TASS and get the info.

When I went for the third service there was another gentleman who was asking for this service. His car completed more than 10,000 KM. So his AMC will be valid for the next 20000 KM (generally AMC is for 20000KM/2yr, which ever is early) and the cost is 10K.

Gold customer is the highest level AMC if am not wrong and it covers lot of items in it. But Gold is only for new cars and for used cars if stripped version of the AMC.

AMC charges vary depending on the ODO readings. If its less than 10000km charge is 10k else they charge more.
AMC 20000km/2yrs is ODO reading, upto 20000km or 2yrs. If you take amc @ 10K odo, it will be covered only till 20k odo.

Can any one share the best audio settings ? Initial settings at the time of delivery was good, my cousin tweaked it and i dont remember earlier settings!!

@ Caroo
Check with Enhanced Audio Settings, the last settings available in the audio settings.

Regarding addition of rear speakers – has any one tried. I am thinking of adding for my car.

@Caroo

In the normal Audio Settings, I keep the Treble to the highest and the Bass to the lowest.

In the Enhanced Audio Setting also doing the same for high and low, while bringing down the mid range works fine for me.

@SandeepJohn

My car comes with the rear speakers as OEM and I find no need to change it as the quality is good.

BTW, did you upgrade your fog lamps?

@Highway Ranger
Abt' Rear Speaker are you refering to the set behind the seat or at rear door? I have in the rear doors & front doors
Still with original Fog Lamps.

By the way yesterday I had a chance to push the car all the way up to 170Kmph and still was feeling planted on the ground. It was just for a bit and then was driving around 140 Kmpl. The drive was between Madurai to Chennai. My fuel eff. was about 12 Kmpl fo rthe trip (Mine is Safire).

FE of 12 kmpl for a petrol car seems to be normal if you were at 140 kmph. To improve FE, you need to maintain 80 kmph.

Manza is stable at very high speeds. We also tested 170 kmph for a short distance some time ago (only to check capability of the car). It was stable and planted ride at that speed.
