Yes. Manza is most underrated sedan of all the cars in C1 segment. People who dont know anything say some bullshit without experiencing. I m more than happy with the choice I made for going to Manza. I face some rattling problem in the boot from first service. Still not done correct. It happens intermittently. I suspect some screw is loose inside the boot door. In 3rd service, will complain abt it. Is it possible to sit with them and make then do it in front of my eyes. Will they allow it.

Yes, If you put your foot down and insist. Tell them that this is a persisting problem, in spite of them telling you that they have fixed it many times before, and that you want it rectified now, once for all. Tell them that you will have to complain to Tatamotors if they do not fix it.

Talking bullshit about tata cars is the most common factor and best is they say this without even going to the showroom or siting in the car even once .

True, I also had apprehensions about tata and had not decided till I got inside of a Manza and drove it. It is a great car, pure VFM, and has many features that are not found in cars of that segment.

I too was in similar situation... The negative talks about TATA cars was not giving me a good reason to select one.

I went to TATA showroom to check out the new Vista Sedan class. But when I got into Manza and enquired about the features and the price I was really surprised. Its a great car!!! [:)]

@ Visran, 70k kms without a review is a crime.
Sorry, out of this 70K my contribution towards the ODO would hardly be 4K, it's basically driven by my dad and all his staff, i hardly get to leave with her[frustration], me writing a review wouldn't probably do justice to this wonderful car.

Got one of my fog lamps replaced under warranty.

Last year, water had entered it while driving through a waterlogged road. It is supposed to be a sealed unit and water proof.

Even with the water inside it used to work. Still, got it replaced.

I checked up with the Tatamotors representative and he confirmed that it is a sealed unit and so you might not be able to change/upgrade your fog lamp bulbs.

Having said that, you can still try to pry it open and change the bulb and then use some sort of glue to fix it back. I would strongly advice you against it.

See if you can buy similar after market fog lamps and fix them in the same place.

In heavy fog, I doubt these small fog lamps, even with a bulb upgrade, will be of any use.

Hello Friends...
Got my 3rd free service (10K Km) done last week.
Problems reported:
1. Front suspension noise.
2. DIS shows distance to empty as 'Err' when tank is full. For next 40-50Km drive this will be repeating. Later it will show correctly.

I left the car for service on 16th Aug at Aadya motors and asked the SA Mr. Swamy to kindly look into the front suspension problem carefully as I have reported this in the 2nd service as well. He agreed to it and the way he reassured me it looked like he understood the problem. Regarding the DIS he was unsure as this is not a common problem and requested to show him this when the tank is full.

I was told that the service charge would be 250Rs. I informed him that i have the AMC and also the 3rd service is free and asked him what the charges are for. He said that it is for polishing the car and other material like grease, etc. I politely told him not to polish my car and not to charge me 250rs. He reluctantly agreed to it.

I requested them to drop the car to my residence and they agreed to it. Evening the SA called me and informed that the car is ready and told me to give good rating the feedback. [:)]. I got the car dropped to my residence, took a small test drive, the sound looked 40% less, so i thought it will vanish with some soft driving.

Next day I took the car to office and noticed that the sound it still existing, this turned me off. I got a call for Aadya on saturday asking for the feedback, I explained them the problem again and they said they will rectify it and asked me to give good ratings for the feedback call from Tata. I said I will postpone the feedback until next Wednesday and asked them to address the issues I reported. She agreed and said that she will call me in half hour, but it didn’t happen (as expected)

Again i got a call from Adya by Mr.Santosh and same conversation was repeated again [anger]. He assured me that on Tuesday he will get things done and he will call me on Tuesday. On Tuesday (21-Aug-2012) he didn’t call me until 12.45pm, so I called him back to check. He acknowledged my call and sent the mechanic to my residence within 45min. I demonstrated the problem to the mechanic and he was also irritated with that sound. I filled diesel (full tank) and demonstrated the DIS issue as well.

The car was then taken to the service centre and I was told that the car will be delivered in the evening. I got a call in the evening that still they are looking into the DIS and fuel gauge problem and the car will be delivered next day. I agreed to it as I wanted these issues to be addressed. I again told them to look into the front suspension issue carefully.

The next day we made few calls to each other on the status and finally the car was sent to my office in koramangala (around 25KM from service centre) around 7.30pm.
I took the car for a small test drive and was happy not to hear that irritating sound, they have finally addressed the issues.

Post service:
1. The front suspension issue was resolved.
2. The DIS and fuel guage was changed under warranty
3. Oil change (as per 3rd free service, castrol professional edge 5w40)
4. Oil filder change (as per 3rd free service)
5. Brake system check (as per 3rd free service)
6. Gear linkage lubricate (as per 3rd free service)
7. Wheel alignment (as per 3rd free service)
8. Wheel balance

Bill amount Rs 0.

Overall I am happy with the car's performance and the output of the service. If TATA can improve them service team and give them some soft and professional skills training then it will be more smooth for customers. [clap]

PS: Highway ranger, sorry I am using your space to write my experience.
