I am lucky. Because, touch wood, Pintu has not given me any issues till date.
Sometimes, I feel Puntos have emotions. You love them to the core, they love you back by giving you a smooth, trouble free & safe ride. You abuse them or treat them like 'just another car' & they feel offended & then start giving issues in protest. FIAT should mention this cautionary note in their brochures!
Day before yesterday my uncle's friend visited us, he resides in Dubai. I went to pick him up in my Pintu. as we neared home, he said "nice car... is this a FIAT?". I replied in affirmative. He nodded & said "hmmm, bound to be nice car"!!! Very contrary to what people think about FIAT.

Yes, I felt that because not many people like the Punto. I have come across many who even hate the way it looks. Some simply refuse to have a look at it because it is a FIAT. Well, I wont entirely blame them either.
For a photoshoot, I need to drive to a nice location now. My work schedule is not permitting me that now. But thats a nice suggestion. I will keep that in mind.
Thank you buddy. Coming to taking care of her, I seriously repent that I could not save her from the scratches caused by the errant & idiotic car cleaner of my society. by the time I realized what he was doing, it was too late. My baby was full of scratches. some scratches are deep & refuse to go.
Well, it depends of which car you are comparing it to.
Engine noise - I find it to be lesser than Figo, Swift, Innova, Scorpio, etc but a tad more than the i20.
Wind noise - Very less. Even at 120 kmph, the only wind noise you hear is from the ORVMs. The rest of the car is neatly packed!
Tyre noise - I have always said that the OE tyres (Goodyear GT3) are the crappiest tyres in the world when it comes to road noise. It is annoyingly loud. But this is not a big issue & can be easily rectified by changing the tyres.

Immediately the Sales manager told They will replace the whole bumper and provide me on Monday eve. I am planning to get it on Tuesday only. But how that happened no one is having idea in showroom. The sales guy left to his native for personal commitments and suddenly everything looks wrong to me. That guy called me to wish me for my new car and whenI told him about this, he stunned and said he will see that on Monday. Well,what a point you have put up..from next time onwards Fiat sales guys must warn the owners while giving the keys that:-1)Sir,never kick the car,else it will kick you back when the right time comes.
2)Never throw abusive words in the car,else she will also shout at you and ill also make you shameful in public places..

3)Never kiss the car,if you do then the airbag may come out to kiss you..
4)Drive her fast and she will also try take you at even the faster pace.
5)Don't get her bad tyres else she will make you walk...etc etc etc..

IF YOUR SON TRIES TO FLEE WITH A GIRL IN THIS CAR THEN THE CAR WILL NOT MOVE AND WILL KEEP THEM LOCKED..
Well,this can also increase the sales..

1) Instead of trying to run away from the problem or beating around the bush, the dealer accepted its mistake & immediately offered to replace the bumper. What happens in such case is that the dealer offers to do this during the first service.
2) Inspite of having personal commitments & being out of station (or whatever), the SA called you to wish you for your new car.
Look at the positive sides bro. :-)
Regarding how this happened, a dealership handles many cars a day. It is not necessary they may notice each & every scratch. What is more important is the way they handle the situation & in your case, they did it very professionally.

I agree with you Raj that It's a good service but think about this way,
Owning the first car of my life and due to the negligency of the stupid persons returned empty handedly. The scratch was so big that one can easily find that with naked eye. How they missed it while it was 5 mintues due for handing over the Key to a Owner... That's annoying me the most...

Little bit OT guys, sorry raj if you don't mind, but 4 days back i visited tata-fiat stockyard of my town, and sadly, most cars had a scratch here or there, there was also a new manza that had its badge snapped and left wing mirror broken.
So sooz punto, i think, the dealer will provide you the car after touch up and rub in polish, i don't think they will replace the bumper, since new bumper would also need to be painted.But don't worry TASS is improving, hoping to see your happy ownership review soon.

Little bit OT guys, sorry raj if you don't mind, but 4 days back i visited tata-fiat stockyard of my town, and sadly, most cars had a scratch here or there, there was also a new manza that had its badge snapped and left wing mirror broken.
So sooz punto, i think, the dealer will provide you the car after touch up and rub in polish, i don't think they will replace the bumper, since new bumper would also need to be painted.But don't worry TASS is improving, hoping to see your happy ownership review soon.

Hey, don't worry about it, when I took my delivery few days ago the dealer called me prior to delivery informing that car have got scratch on rear bumper and he will do the paint job for it and then I can take delivery. I went there and tried to find the scratch on the rear bumper and was not able to. Then he finally showed me where the scratch was and after that I was able to recognise that it was evident that the car rear bumper was scratched. But for the people who do not know that the bumper was scratched, will never be able to find one on my car.
