@mastersquall I haven't done a TD of Punto yet, might do that some time soon, I wanted to know the handling of the car after the changes have been done by the Fiat guys recently. Has anyone TDied the car after the changes made?

there is no changes in the handling of the car.

infact some are saying that there has been no changes in the Punto whatsoever.

First free service of my punto - Rs. 82/-

3 free services - 3000 kms, 15000 kms & 30000 kms.

So, till 30000 kms, my service bills would be less than Rs. 5000/-. After that, as per reports on net, service bills every 15000 kms would be to the tune of 5000.

1):Does the car runs on synthetic mobile oil?
2):Is it the true service interval or the oil change interval?

I have somewhere heard that Punto has quite panel gaps and the plastics(especially the one under the bonnet lid,that is between the windscreen and bonnet)are of poor quality and fade off in a short time span...
How is your experience about that?
I have also heard some fit and finish issues also some interior build quality issues,any there,if you have encountered?

yes, it runs on synthetic oil.

true. even in my car, the plastic you are talking about has a gap but one friend informs me that the gap is purposely given for the rain water or washer fluid to seep in.

true. like in every punto, even my car's glovebox lid has a gap, there is a small gap on the RHS of the dash too. some rattling is also there in my car but that MAY BE due to the aftermarket ICEing I have done.

really strange reason. if the car breakdowns in a poorly lit place, we can switch on just one parking light to save on the battery.
