Honda does believe in making its customers happy time and again. earlier when i decided to go for extended warranty they gave me one more year free. As of now my car is covered for 5 years. I know you hardly go wrong with a Honda and maybe i will never avail this extended warranty but at least I have peace of mind.
Hi all...well nice to read all your threads and ownership experiences of brio.
Well I am also planning to buy Brio SMT from Chandigarh and TD it twice. The break up of the cost is
ex-show - 4,55,900/-
insurance (with zero dep) - 15k
Handling charges+extended warranty - 4000 + 5650
In the name of discounts I am just getting 3k as corporate discount + 4k handling charges waived off...accessory incl mats, pillows, teflon coating and car cover are free...dats it
Has anybody who has booked this vehicle in Jan-Feb 2014 got a better deal ?
Also some of my concerns when i TD it are:-
--The gear box felt kind of hard and not smooth, does dis improve over the period or remains the same ?
--i have read about AC low performance issues of this car..is dis true ?

1.Yes the gear box is rigid and slots only on full clutch, especially when you will be shifting down to 2nd gear. Mention it at the time of service and it will get better. It won't be eradicated completely, but will keep improving.
2.Yes and this is due to large area of glass on the car's body. It takes above 5 mins to cool on blower 2.

Maybe the AC's not that good? What's the size of the compressor ?
i booked vxmt on 19th feb from sundaram honda, i didnt get any deals, after long negotation they agreed to give full tank petrol.
I think its 30*25*18. Not sure

Which part of the country are you from ?
I am from tirupur. actually there is only one dealer in and around my city and that also Sundaram motors.its like monopoly, so they are not ready to give any discount or accessories.
yes they were in coimbatore, tirupur, erode, salem,and madurai.
On a recent trip to devrayandurga, distance of about 115kms, achieved a record breaking mileage of 22.1kmpl.
