Since we bought a Amaze diesel recently for my BIL and had extensive discussion of the insurance offered by Honda(Bajaj Allianz) and upon comparison of all, we felt it is better to go with Honda insurance with the kind of assistance they have assured in case of any breakdown or accident [:)]
agree, Honda assure is the way to go if you own an Honda. How is the Amaze faring with your BIL. You have driven my car as well, and as they both share same engine, did you find it zippy as the brio or has the weight taken its toll.

EDIT just realized he purchased diesel. so there cant be any comparison :D

Hahaha Nitin,

you are right it is completely different experience driving your car and the Amaze diesel. Unfortunately I could not get a chance till now to drive that car except on the day of delivery, so unable to comment much.

My BIL says the car jumps a lot on speed breakers comparing my Ritz, so I don't know why ??
and his wife says it was comfortable in my car while our recent 2000km trip and they feel claustrophobic sitting in Amaze and not that comfortable. I need to drive and examine this.

hella is competitively priced anyways. i took my car out last night and oh man, it seems i was in day light. I should have done this last year itself.

@ darkkid ; did you change the holders also. I read contrasting reports with few saying to change to ceramic holder with 100/90w and other saying that you need to change them with 130 plus.

p.s i have no idea what these ceramic holders are and will google them now.
Shall get my lights replaced too. Hope they dont void the warranty[anger]

Whats the service interval?

NVM, figured it out myself.
1st is at 1000 km
2nd at 10k
then every 10k/6 months.

One question, though. It is clearly written only labour is free, you have to pay for consumables. Then how come was your first service absolutely free?

The service interval for Brio must be 5000km/6months. I guess they are yet to adapt the 10k/1 yr service interval.

^^ The service interval is 10k kms / 6months.

I think Nithin missed out on mentioning labour free for 3rd service. 4th service onward, it becomes like paid service, where you pay even the labour charge.

And your last service amount looks to be on higher side. Did you get some additional work done? Waxing? Interior cleaning?

the 1st one is after a month/1000kms which ever comes earlier and that is free.

Great Buy Nitin. Congrats and Happy motoring. Did you also tried accesories like LED scuff plate, Arm Rest, Reverse Parking Camera etc. I am planning to buy LED scuff plate for my brio. I am opting for aftermarket, considering the upward prices of the OEM. Let me know if you have opted for such fittings, if yes, can you share the prices.

close to 23kmpl i guess, spent a lot of time arguing wit the toll guy, so din notice

Indian Rambo-Spkrs are stock, will change over to some good components later on

BTW, has any1 done seat covers on their honda brio????
Hi, i have gone for OEM seat covers for Honda Brio. Actually there were two variants, one which is PU Biege cost was around 8K, another PU Dual tone Biege with Coffee. It was around 6k. Overall i am happy with the factory finish. However they missed out on steering covers, which i got aftermarket same color combination costing around 350. Will put up a pic later.

Regards
