Thanks, Ajay. I suppose in Bangalore you're blessed with good weather so more effective airconditioning and much as chaotic as a city, Gurgaon offers some benefits like a lower road tax. I'll push for corner bumper guards. I'm thinking that I can't be too lucky and would have to buy:
. a tailgate spoiler
. rear cargo protector
. side door protector
Do you advise the above 3 or recommend any other essentials?
I'm also looking for views on the efficacy of a teflon coating and should start with you :)
Many thanks for these inputs.

Of the three options that you have given the rear cargo protector is a good choice for a simple reason that you will have to lift and drop your luggage in the case of brio rather than pushing them in. You may just peel off the skin when you end up dropping the luggage incorrectly. Cargo protector helps here.
Side door protectors are very much useful but I have postponed its purchase for now. Prefer being a bit careful for some days atleast
Spoilers are not really necessary unless you are really bothered about the look. I believe Brio is aero-dynamically good and shouldn't have problems at high speeds. Spoilers are designed only to change the flow of air over the rear of the vehicle at high speeds (speeds > 160kmph). So in my opinion You take it only incase you get it free from the dealer.
Teflon again not necessary. Better invest in some other accessories. Anti-rust coating should do the job. Teflon is not permanent. Better think of waxing the car every 6 months or so. Again teflon the car only if free
